Absolutely Fabulous
This DVR WAS SOOO EASY to set up and the picture is beautiful. It has the feature to make the spot lights come on if some one comes near the house which I love! If you donât have a night owl security monitoring system I suggest this is the best I have had!!!!

Camera input jacks start to fail shoe=rtly after purchase.
DVR is poorly built with poor connectors. Customer service is poor and waited 30 minutes twice for someone to answer. No one did. Left a callback number third time. Said 30 minute callback, no one ever did….Switching to a different company. Not happy with this company and this product.

No Hard Drive
I ordered this DVR and it stated that the HD was included not in the system. So I mailed it back and will order the next one with a Hard Drive built into system.

Does not record.
Have used the night owl for years. Have the wired device wanted to add wireless to my system. Was told I needed a new DVR box. The one that was suggested was the one for $199. That one Doesnât record anything! The description is misleading, it says it records, and has a DVR. On the plus⦠It is easy to set up!

Not great equipment and terrible support
The DVR will not connect to my internet or TV. There is no support that you can talk with and I end up typing a book and the I receive no help. Probably going to return the DVR and go a different direction.Very disappointed.

Motion sensor constantly going off
The motion sensor constantly goes off when there is no movement of any kind even if it’s pointed at a stone wall with sensitivity set on the lowest setting. Other than that I love everything else but motion sensor is what you most want on a security system.
