Decently portable and servicable SSD flash drive.
I work with video content professionally, so I have a good-sized collection of top-shelf SSDs. This one is fine for most daily computer tasks, although I’m not sure the speeds would be ideal for consistently transferring large amounts of data (like 4K video files).But if you need a sleek and small flash drive that runs silent and cool, this might be for you. Just be aware of the specs and set your expectations accordingly.

Very nice little 1Tb SSD portable hard drive.
This was very easy to get up and running, nearly plug and play, needed a driver installed on one computer. This is a very small unit with a really big storage capacity for a portable hard drive that isn’t that much bigger than a flash drive. It is absolutely noiseless of course, and generated little to no heat during use. It has really fast data transfer both ways, and never misses a beat, or a byte. I think this is a great value for the money, and I can recommend it.

Nice Portable SSD – Not the fastest on the market
I needed a portable backup for my iPhone while I was traveling. I saw the ORICO 512GB External SSD and decided to give it a try. It is a small form factor SSD with a little loop so you can put in on a carabiner or loop to carry around. It comes with a usb -c /usb -a to usb-c cable for various configurations. I did run a speed test on it and it was a bit sluggo … the tech specs state throughput being at 500/MBs so not far off from my benchmarks …. for the application this will work. Overall happy with this and it works for what I need it to do.. it does not need to be killer fast.
