One of the best SSD USB 1TB Drives One Cany Buy!!!!!
Ok, this is going to read like an advertisement, but I have never been happy about buying a USB SSD before. I will be honest, I bought this USB SSD cause it was low price, was fast and had USB-A and USB-C connector. I honestly didn’t give much thought to the device, until I opened up the Amazon delivery package, felt and examined the device. I was impressed immediately and was surprised at its build quality, which I didn’t expect. I thought it would be the run of the mill SSD USB cheap plastic device, I didn’t know and didn’t read that it was built out of High Grade Zinc alloy housing. If you look at the device it looks impressive, it doesn’t look cheap and when you hold it in your hand, feel it and touch it it oozes quality. The weight is just enough to let you know it is there, it is a nice weight. Taking the cover off of the USB-A side has a nice friction pull, pulling it off and putting it on, there is no cheap plastic ridge click feeling but a smooth friction action putting the USB-A cover on and off. The USB-C protective cover is a pleasure to operate, again oozing a quality type feel and the markings on this SSD USB device are nice and will not wear with time. I operated this USB device with my PC which has a USB-A port and with my Samsung phone which has a USB-C port, in both cases it operated smoothly and quickly with no issues. On top of this, it came with a very nice leather-built pouch with a key chain holder. This is one of the issues of USB drives, you put it down somewhere and you forget where you put it, the nice leather pouch with key chain means one will always know where the USB device is. I highly recommend this USB SSD device, it is apparent that SSK designers put in a lot of thought into this device from a look, feel, handling, mechanical protection, ease of portability as well as a lot of storage and quick speed as well as port flexibility, having both USB-A and USB-C. I would never think I would write a review about a USB device since all the previous one’s I bought were cheap plastic and you couldn’t put them on your key chain. But this USB device is nice/fun to handle, look at, store and operate……..very nice product.

Excellent performance in a solid package
I primarily purchased this drive to transfer pics & vids from an iPhone 15 to a pc. Iâve had issues with direct cable transfer for whatever reason so I went with this option.In short, the performance of this drive is excellent! I started slow at first, then ramped up to transferring several hundred pics at a time with no errors from the phone to this drive. The transfer from this drive to the pc was equally as fast, error free. NO issues right out of the box, perfect performance.The caps (one removable the other swing type) do not interfere with insertion into the device ports (phone with case and pc) and protect the drive quite well.Few other niceties: The drive itself gets very slightly warm when in use – hardly noticeable, especially compared to others in this category. It has a robust construction which I appreciate – doesnât feel at all like a hollow plastic âtoss awayâ thumb drive. The pouch it comes with isnât âluxuriousâ but is very convenient for storing and transporting the drive in my pack and Iâm very glad it is included.Overall this is a great performing drive – so much so I got a second one for additional file transfer/storage.

When I travel, I appreciate being able to save space. This sleek, double-ended flash drive took the place of a portable hard drive in my backpack. And with its dual USB-A and USB-C connections, I can go from my laptop, to my phone, even to my car (for music) without having format issues.When it’s copying files, the stick does get a bit warm, but not hot. The drive is made of metal, so it is rigid and feels solid in your hand. Nothing rattles. The cover for the USB-A side grips tightly and doesn’t slip. The USB-C cover is similarly secure, though there is a small gap between the end of the plug and the edge of the cover. This is not a problem if you keep the stick in its included vinyl sheath (which does have a keyring.) I tried putting it on my keychain but it’s really a bit too large to do that. It stays in a small pocket in my backpack on trips, or in my pocket when needed.

The first thing I noticed about this drive is the weight. I was really not expecting that, and a little leather pouch with a keyring was a bonus! I don’t have to worry about losing it (or washing another thumb drive… >.>)It seems fast, it’s well built, and since it has both style USB3 and USBC connectors, works great on multiple systems.If I had a single complaint, it would be about my macbook… the USBC ports are too close together, and since it charges with USBC, I have to unplug the charger to get the drive in there. Other than that, NO complaints about this product!

I was skeptical about the transfer speed but boy was I wrong. It transferred almost one million small files (with a total of 8.5GB) within 5 minutes and 30 seconds. I didn’t expect it to be that fast. It is pricy, but you do get what you paid for.

Funciona muy bien, irreal que en ese tamaño le quepan los 2TB y la capacidad es real, ya le metà 1.4 terabites y sin problema, es rápido, solo que depende que tu computadora tenga los puertos nuevos y más rápidos para que funcione al 100%, en mi caso transfirió bastante bien 300 gigas a una tasa de 150mb/s pero mi compu ya es vieja, después de los 300 gigas si mermó mucho la velocidad por que se calienta bastante, pero funciona muy bien. Es muy robusto, se siente pesado pero no es grande. Excelente precio lo compré en $2,600 pesos, y está excelente. Que traiga las dos salidas integradas usb a y usb c, está increÃble súper versátil y actual.

Solid metal construction and seems to work well. Wanted to use with my older TV USB port, but had to reformat it to NTFS first – came with exFAT which was not recognized by my TV. Then it worked. Not sure why it heats up fairly quickly and becomes quite warm, (my other 500 GB thumb drive doesn’t do that). Perhaps the metal case allows for heat dissipation?
