A good replacement
My kids constantly misplace the TV remote and/or drop and break it. Such is the story for ordering this.It worked great, just like the original remote that came with our TV. All of the buttons were functional and did what they are supposed to do. I like the layout of the buttons and think that this remote is easy to use.It has held up so far to a few months use, but I am glad to know that this is available should the need arise again (and I’m sure it will…).

Connected automatically and works great after our dog chewed up the last remote. only complaint is sometimes the hulu button will open HBOmax but that isnt really an issue too often.

What a life saver. It was fast, connected to my tv quickly, responded quickly, all buttons were there and functioning. There isnât voice control but thatâs okay the battery life is great on it and it fits anywhere you would like to store it.

Good Replacement, but a Learning Curve
This remote is a great replacement for LG smart TVs and works as advertised. The voice control feature is responsive, and the buttons are easy to press. However, the setup instructions could be clearer, as it took me a while to figure out all the functions. Additionally, itâs not as ergonomic as I hoped, making it slightly uncomfortable for extended use. Once you get past the setup, itâs a solid remote that gets the job done.

Well made, every button works the first time you press it!
We made the mistake of buying a cheaper remote, and shortly after the purchase the buttons would either press twice when pressed only once or require us to press over and over. That was the problem with the original controller we had. Then it dawned on us that there might be a better built device, and turns out this is the one! It claims a .02 second response time, and by golly that’s what we got. Now we just have to learn to not press the buttons over and over as the prior controller required. This one works the first time, every time. For three dollars more, it is not exactly a big risk.

I took a chance on this after seeing the price of the original LG one.My original LG remote stopped working out of the blue, with the light stuck on as if a button was stuck down. I took it to bits, cleaned it, replaced the batteries, re-paired to the TV but it didn’t help so I resigned myself to replacing it.This one is identical to the original, except maybe slightly lighter? The magic pointer feature works fine as does the voice remote and I’ve found no issues using it with my 3 year old LG SM8050PLC.Hopefully I won’t need to but would definitely buy again.
