Make sure this universal remote has your electronic device listed or it may not be compatible.
I picked this universal remote control over others because it is compatible with my much older devices. This product was a lot smaller than I realized and it came with a manual and the codes for MY Electronic devices. However, the downside for this remote is the code programing was time consuming and it was frustrating trying to find out the correct code for the correct electronic device. But, once I got that figured out the functions on the remote worked correctly. Also, the other downside is itâll probably get lost because its so small. Other than these two things; I would give it 5 stars because it works great with my older DVD and VCR players, and it is easy enough for my 8 year old to use.

Excellent Buy!
I had an older spare Philips CD player that I switched to after faithful Sony died. Philips played well, from beginning to end,but cannot navigate on menu of CD withouta remote. This remote is a smaller size and to just use for CD watching, was easy to setup. Just delighted with it. Happy watching,listening to mycheerful, fun Frasier episodes. Well worth the mostreasonable price. Ps. Keep the paperwork for settings for use with many other brands & devices.

Master volume control is great but remote is a little small
Bought this for master volume control, works as expected. Works great with simple functions like turning on/off tv, changing inputs, and changing volume but not great for smart TV/ streaming devices. I have it hooked up to my Smart TV, my Denon AVR, and my Xbox. Technically usable with the smart tv and Xbox but I wouldnât recommend it for that use. No back button and navigation buttons are very small and close to one another.

Didn’t work
I have a Philip’s TV so I bought a Philips remote. It would not work. I even called Phillips and they walked me through the set up and still didn’t work. They said something was wrong with the infra red signal on our TV but not true because all the other controls work from a distance on our original remote except for the volume which is why we needed a replacement. Very disappointed.

Just okay
Itâs just okay. The remote is really small compared to other remotes. The code set up us weird. It works for all three codes give , but only certain features. So he first code turned the tv on, but nothing else worked (column or channels). The second code the channels worked but nothing else. The third code almost everything works but the sleep timer (which I wonât buy a remote without one), so kind of disappointing. I guess itâs good enough for now, but definitely wouldnât buy again. I bought two and the one that wasnât opened.

Perfect little remote! Might not be great for big hands and sausage fingers.
This is a perfect little remote. I bought it to power a Phillips dvd player and a Sanyo tv that I found in my new house that the previous owner left with no remotes. The first code worked for programming both devices. You can program several things into this guy. This is a small remote so it’s great for my small hands. But if you have big hands and sausage fingers then you might not like this remote. I would buy this again if I ever needed another remote.
