Like most people here, I have a slight obsession with mechanical keyboards. Up until this point though, I have only gone with 1800 layouts or similar. Number pads are kind of a big deal for my job and hobbies. I finally found an excuse to pick up something smaller though and after 2 weeks of research I landed on the M75. First I would like to go over why I believe this is such a great keeb for the money. While not perfect, I think it offers a lot compared to it’s competition. You are getting a gasket mounted, hot swappable, 75% board with triple mode wireless (that works great on all connections!), rotary knob, lcd screen, and best of all, a usb-c hub built in! I wasn’t sure what to expect about the typing feel, as this is my first time trying the pale green switches, but they are a joy to type on. I had to get used to the lower weight needed to depress the keys. But after an hour I feel like I can type faster than I ever have before. The double shot keys are high quality and have the perfect texture. I do wish they were shine through, but it’s rare to find keys that are both high quality and shine through. The RGB works well and gets plenty bright. Especially when I end up finding some shine though keys that are up to par. You do need to control the RGB and other setup options with RK’s own software though. Everything feels solid and I don’t notice any wobble in the keys/switches. Stabilizers also feel adequate and I have no desire to replace them. Overall I am very happy with this board and don’t feel the need to do any modding at this point. This board was purchased to be used in an HTPC controller that I am building. Since the Logitech k830 was the last decent HTPC controller to be released, I’m sick of waiting and building my own. I am designing a case I will 3d print, which will house the M75 along with a Kensington Slimblade Pro. Eventually I’ll come back and update with the results.

I’ve been doing research on building my own keyboard, but it was so expensive and seemed like a rip-off. I also didn’t know what switches, bases, key caps, etc. to get. I saw this keyboard and ordered it. I was a bit worried it wouldn’t be so good, but it’s amazing and more than I could have ever expected! I got the pale green switches, and they sound pretty good. It’s not too much or too little when it comes to typing, and it has that creamy, thumping sound to it. This keyboard is also very heavy and feels quite premium and nice! I saw Bluetooth problems occur for someone in the reviews, but I haven’t had any issues, and I’ve left it on for over 30 minutes. It can always be an issue, depending on your case or motherboard connectors for USB. For me personally, I had no issues at all!

This RK keyboard sits at the high end of the “custom feeling but not actually custom” keyboard market. Brands like Red Dragon are on the cheaper end for a reference point.For the price, i would say this keyboard punches above its weight class. It feels as good as some of the custom high end boards ive come across but with far more going for it in terms of features. Wired, 2.4 ghz and 3 bluetooth profiles let me easily connect to my work pc, gaming pc, smart tv, and more without going into settings.Rgb and connection are managed on board, rather than through an app. You get less customization that way but honestly i cant stand how bad most of these companies apps are anyway. Part of the reason i stopped using my razer and got this instead. The inboard rgb profiles give you a good variety to choose from though so no complaints there.Build quality is NICE. Very dense premium feeling plastics, klacky keys that are noticable but not obnoxiously loud, bright and slick looking rgb, speedy connection, good battery life (love the indicator screen thats a nice touch. Makes controlling all this stuff easy)Overall, can you get a perfectly nice keyboard for cheaper than this? For sure. But if you want bang for your buck this thing packs quite a lot of quality and features for the price its at. Id say a good pre built keyboard will likely run you $100 before tax. But this thing is only like 50 bucks more when all is said and done and will take you from a good keyboard to an excellent one.Save the few extra bucks up and get this.

At more than half the cost of a Razer, Asus Rog or Corsair keyboard these RK keyboards are definitely worth it.The keypress is nice and quick, not too noisy, tactile and there is no ghosting,Takes some time to get used to the height, as it’s a quality build, the key height sits a bit higher.Liked it so much I bought another RK for my work machine.

I’ve had this keyboard for about 6 months now and still enjoying it. The tactile keys feel great and the dampened sound of the keys makes for a much more pleasant ‘thock’ sound than the typical clackety clack of older undampened keyboards. It’s nice that the keys are hot-swappable and also uses south facing LED so they color will be facing you and brighter. It’s also very convenient in this layout because there are dedicated arrow keys and HOME/PG UP/PG DN/DEL. I heavily use the multi input USB/2.4Ghz to switch between a couple PCs. I just turn the knob and select the input and I can control the right source. It’s nice not to need a second keyboard when working simultaneously with two PCs. I’ve shared a screenshot. As you can see I customized it with nintendo’esque colored keycaps for a retro look. Recommended!
