Great picture!
Really 4 1/2 stars. The positive: a fantastic picture, and the matte screen really works to minimize reflections. Only rarely do I notice any reflection at all. Could customization features and image adjustments. Good sound quality, but needs a sound bar or other external system for sound as good as the picture. The not so positive: It’s annoying to have to wait out the Samsung menu every time you turn it on. It should go directly to my image source (cable box, etc.) and only go to the menu when I want it to. And the pop-up ads on top of the TV commercials is a little annoying, but not all that bad, I suppose. (What am I talking about? One example: a TV ad for a pizza restaurant, and the TV shows a pop up on top that says “Click to order right now” or something like that. I paid for the TV. Don’t force ads on me.Overall, though, a great TV, and the best OLED for brightly lit rooms.

Great TV and features
I replaced our 5 year old LG oled tv with this Samsung and it is far better. The setup process is fantastic, it guides you through it. I have a home theater system and run the tv through that receiver first which then connects to the tv and setup can be difficult for me where this setup guided me right through that setup step by step. The glare free screen works great for us because before we had to close our shades if we wanted to watch tv during the day. The picture is amazing.

Beautiful color and picture
I’ve always had s Samsung television, and my last one, that I had for about 10 years, developed a dark shadow going up the center of the screen. I knew then it was time to get a new TV. The one I ordered on Amazon was a good and competitive price. It was delivered with care, and we hooked it up to our cable company with ease. In fact, we had the cable company come out to assist us with it, and it was an easy set up that we missed via a cable item we already had that our cable technician showed us. The picture is extremely clear and very colorful. We love it and so will you!

Dead after one month on the day
This tv was great but exactly one month into ownership as we were watching a movie a loud pop happened and the tv went dead. A quick internet search has people saying itâs a common issue with this tv and was a capacitor that blew.

What a picture
The box came a bit of a mess, but the contents were not broken. After lying the tv face down on the couch I followed the speed instructions and assembled the base. The screen seems very flexible until the base is connected. Right now I have it attached to an old samsung sound bar. This sound bar is about 3 years old and isn’t capable of keeping up with the sound coming from the tv. An upgrade is coming in the future. The depth and crisp colors are unbelievable. I watched football last night and there was no dithering or ball ghost trail. I highly recommend this tv. Setup was a breeze.

The anti-glare coating actually works
If you’re looking to pay less for a TV, not this one. It’s a very expensive top of the line flagship TV just for those people who have extra money to pay for amazing image quality.If for some reason you want to use the smart TV functions, don’t get this TV. The OS is bad. That said, there aren’t any good Smart TV OSes. You should use a real computer, or an Apple TV.Maybe your TV is in a dark room, or you have curtains, and you don’t need any anti-glare tech. In that case, you can get a high end TV from another brand, and the image quality might technically be a tiny bit better than on this one.But this TV, the anti-glare coating is legit. It really works. With the previous TV, any amount of sunlight, even with the translucent blinds closed, would make the entire screen white. We couldn’t see anything. With this new TV, and the blinds OPEN yeah, there is glare. The photons have to go somewhere. But we can still see the TV image despite the glare. And if we close the blinds, that only reduce the light (not block it) the glare completely disappears. Did you know that window treatments can cost more than expensive televisions? If you want a TV with top of the line image quality, but you have no choice but to put it in a bright room, this is the TV to get.Also, this TV has the OneConnect box. Some people don’t care about that. But we hang our TV on the wall. We also can’t cut any holes in the wall to route cables. To avoid having a hideous mess of cables coming down from the TV, the OneConnect box is perfect. It lets us hide everything in the media unit below the TV. It looks great.We’ve had the TV for a few months so far, and no regrets. It’s perfect for us, but it’s not for everyone.

Samsung OLED provides stunning picture
We’ve had the new 55″ S95D installed on a flexible wall mount for about 3 weeks now and we are very pleased with this TV. We upgraded from a much older 47″ Samsung LED set that was at least 15 yrs old. This new OLED set was pretty easy to set up. The only glitch was the fact that there no longer is any support for analog audio connections. I had to buy a DV to RCA L/R converter cable to be able to connect my Sony stereo amp and ADS speakers which gives me super audio. The S95D built in audio is pretty good in comparison to my old set in any case. I went ahead and trashed the box and packing materials as I plan to keep this TV. The colors were so shockingly saturated when I first saw them that I sent in to the settings to reduce contrast, saturation and black level. My eyes hurt it was so intense. I am used to it now and love it.
