Super portable!
I really like this SSD, it’s very lightweight and portable. I’d never used SP before, but this is actually the second one I buy. I have a larger SSD for myself, and got this one for my partner … makes me wish I’d gotten this one, too.

Works well for WiiU!
I needed USB storage for my homebrewed WiiU. This was one of the cheaper options and it works just fine. It does feel a bit cheap, but that doesn’t matter much when it’s sitting behind the WiiU. The included usb C/A adapter is a nice bonus.

Generally happy with it, but a weird quiek if you are an ipad user.
I’ve been quite happy using it with Windows and Android devices, but there may be an odd quirk that ipad users might want to take into account. When I was trying to use it to transfer some files to an iPad, the darn thing wouldn’t get recognized (an iPad with usb c rather than lightning port–so pluggged directly to the device). But another ssd (Crucial) showed up fine. I wondered if that might be due to power issues, but that doesn’t seem to be it either: it still wouldn’t show when connected to a powered usb c hub. It’s not formatting since both drives are formatted exFat. So, at least in my experience, this drive does not seem to work with iPads for reasons unknown. But, for PC and Android, this is a nifty and inexpensive portable stirage, though.

Below average item.
This ssd seems decent quality. As we started using, we have encountered some problems.1. Type C port sometimes disconnects itself. We don’t know why. We are using the cable provided with item.2. Speed is not as advertised. Especially, just after 1-2 GB transfer, speed decreases drastically.3. Material quality is not good. It is plasticy, feeling cheap.

Good for extra storage
It was slow (ish) for me on gaming but it’s perfect for extra storage for photos/videos or video projects!

Been using this for a few months now and absolutely love it.Iâm using it to run a windows 11 virtual desktop on my MacBook. So needed something pretty fast and that I could rely on.This does an amazing job and runs just as fast as my dedicated windows gaming PC.Drive is speedy and Iâve experienced no slowdowns or overheating issues.I do wish it was a bit heavier, even with artificial weight. It just feels so light and brittle in my opinion.

I use this external SSD for video editing; it words very well for this purpose.I got the “Carabiner edition”, which is very light, made of plastic, because it was smaller than the Pro version and also had faster speed. However, the Pro version has an aluminum case, so some users may chose the Pro version for the extra protection.
