    Amazing how good it sounds, and how easy it is to pair
    I’ve used various Bluetooth headphones and speakers. Some sound good but have onerous software or finicky pairing, some pair easily but have tinny audio or poor battery performance. This little device manages to have a nice, rich, full sound without any technical vices. I turn it on, it pairs seamlessly with my iPad Pro, and soon I am working happily in my garage, listening to my music, podcasts, and audiobooks, thinking I have spent more than I have on audio equipment. Is it the pinnacle of audio hardware? No. But it sounds great, lasts very long on a charge, and is dead simple to use. It goes anywhere and is all I could want in a portable Bluetooth speaker. Great value for the money. So glad I got it.

    Great sound for a small size speaker.
    Perfect. Small size speaker with great sound.I like that you can link a ton of these together and put them all over the house as act as little mini speakers in every room or in your office. Great!.They’re very portable they last long. They’re very well made. Charge up quickly and hold their charge for the whole day. That’s super functional with the app

    Great price Great product
    Love the soundcore 3 What you must remember it is a portable speaker If you want range of sound get two of them. I use it on a screened in porch with concrete walls surrounding me . That helps amp it up a bit. Absoutely love the product. Paired well and works fine. Would buy again JD

    Beefier and sturdier
    I got the Anker Soundcore 3 after I accidentally left my old Soundcore 2 on the roof of my car and left work. Ooops! So I decided it was a good time to upgrade. I also wanted to get a new one that used the UCB-C ports since that’s what my phone also uses. Its nice having consistent ports across multiple devices so you aren’t juggling cables.The overall speaker is a bit bigger and sturdier feeling than the previous one. Sound wise I feel like it’s a bit better in the higher range frequencies. The Soundcore 2 was definitely more bass focused. Switching from my car’s speakers to the stereo I could always notice a cut of the high mids and mid frequencies. The Soundcore 3 has less of that. Its not the best sounding speaker ever, but it’s robust and gets the job done for a good price point. I’ll be sticking with Anker on these going forward!Overall I’m pretty happy with the new one. I also got in a lighter color to avoid last times little misshap! ^^;

    It’s built tough and looks and sounds good.
    I’m a high school vollyball and basketball coach. I was using a huge speaker for practice each day. it went dead fast and was too loud. if be turning it up and down all practice. This one by soundcore is amazing! loud with good bass. connects fast and i can link more then 1 together. built strong, looks good sounds good and 100 % worth it.

    Great sounding small Bluetooth speaker… when using the custom 9-band EQ in the Phone App
    I bought the Soundcore 3 to replace my Tribit Maxsound Plus for use as a low volume kitchen-counter “background radio” playing Pandora all day long.Pandora has an outstanding algorithm for selecting relevant songs but for me, the sound has too much midrange and not enough deep bass or sparkling treble. It sounds more like AM radio, not very “Hi-Fi”.When using Pandora on an iPhone or iPad, there’s no way to EQ the sound … why I cannot more highly recommend all recent Soundcore speakers and earbuds compatible with their free phone app which has a “game changer” custom 9-band EQ.Here’s a link to my 2021 review of the larger Soundcore Motion Boom (still one of the best outdoor speakers) with an explanation of how to install the phone app and adjust the custom EQhttps://www.amazon.com/review/R2U6B0N78540QJ/(copy and paste the above URL into a web browser address bar)Using the V-shaped custom EQ on the smaller Soundcore 3 transforms the sound of Pandora when played at low to medium “background” settings: smooth, easy to listen to, deep bass and detailed treble. By comparison the Tribit Maxsound Plus playing Pandora has blary midrange and for me is unlistenable (Tribit does sound good on Spotify when using it’s custom EQ setting found in their phone app as follows: Profile > Settings and privacy > Playback > Equalizer > create a V shaped curve as shown in my Motion Boom review)Tips– if the volume is turned up high, the deep bass sliders (left side) of my custom EQ should be moved down to prevent distortion.– I recommend comparing the sound in the usual horizontal orientation vs a vertical “tower” orientation. In the corner of my kitchen, the sound is much better standing up vertical: deeper cleaner bass / smoother midrange / more detailed treble.I hope this is helpful.

    Great speaker for the price.
    Excellent battery. Audio quality is great considering the size of the speaker. Value is excellent.I don’t feel the audio is quite as good as some more expensive options out there, but I’m not the least bit disappointed with it’s performance. Bass is much better than the Soundcore 2. The Soundcore 3 also works with the Soundcore App so you can adjust mixer settings.I wish it had a plug or cap for the USB-C plug. We use it at the beach and I’d like to keep salt spray / sand out of it.I do miss the 1/8 in audio input that the Soundcore 2 has, since it also doubles as my computer speaker, but I understand that most are going to use bluetooth exclusively.Get it on Prime Day for a great deal.

    It’s definitely water friendly!
    The sound is great, it has app control so you can adjust every aspect of the music you’re listening to which is huge for me because I have a weird thing with bass driving me crazy. Battery life seems to be great! We used it for our river floats this summer, used it up to 4 times without needing to charge and had it on for 3 hours at a time! Has been completely submerged in water and it still functions perfectly without sounding like there’s water in the speakers. Great quality for the price!

    ——————————- START OF NEW REVIEW —————————–The day my original review (below) got published (July 29, 2022), Marvin from Anker Customer Support contacted me regarding my issue. He was professional, understandable, and offered me a solution – receive a new speaker to remedy my faulty one, without the need to return the one I purchased!I took him up on this offer as I believed my original unit was faulty. On Aug 2, 2022, Marvin notified me that the new speaker was ordered, and the next day (wow) it was delivered to my door.Lo and behold it arrived at 60% (again), and after ~2 hours of high-volume playback it had only dropped 10%. I continued to use it for the rest of the day and am happy to say this device has 24h battery life as advertised. The sound quality is just as good as the first one, so it really was just a battery issue.Thank you Anker for the wonderful customer support and quick resolution to my problem.——————————- END OF NEW REVIEW ———————————————————- START OF ORIGINAL REVIEW —————————I own the original Anker Soundcore (1st gen) and wanted to upgrade to the 3rd generation while it was on sale for $70 CAD. Item arrived on time and in typical high-quality Anker packaging. Removed device from box and bag to find a few smudges around the speaker but I didn’t think much of it.Connected seamlessly to my phone (the speaker was at 60% when it arrived), downloaded the Soundcore app to play with the EQ settings, and listened to music for around an hour and a half. Before I knew it the music stopped and Bluetooth disconnected, I thought something was up with my phone but I realized the speaker had turned off (it was dead!).The battery drained from 60 to 0 in ~ 90minutes of mid-volume listening. My Soundcore 1 would last significantly longer than this despite its age. Although both devices are rated for 24 hours of playback, clearly that is not the case with the product in my hands. The next day (today) I charged it to 100% and played music at a low volume in the background while I worked. Battery duration was around 5 hours.——- TLDR ——-PROS: Speaker build and sound quality blow the original Soundcore out of the water. Having the app to customize your EQ profile is a great plus as well. Comes with USB-C charging cable and heavy-duty nylon strap to loop into the built-in holes.CONS: Unacceptable battery life, my suspicions are either from a used unit (hence the smudges/fingerprints when opening), or just a faulty battery. @Anker, please let me know what’s going on!————————— END OF ORIGINAL REVIEW —————————

    Produto chegou bem embalado e lacrado, sendo exatamente o esperado,Quem for comprar deve ter paciência, pois demora cerca de 1 mês para entrega, mas vale a pena, o produto é bom, tendo boa qualidade sonora e durabilidade da bateria de cerca de 12hrs com o volume quase no nível máximo.

    Summary: sounds smooth, refined and a LOT bigger then the actual box suggests. At the price it’s a stellar performer.I’ve been engrossed in music all my life, playing, performing and listening (and one-time speaker development engineer). One thing I know – it’s impossible to get a ‘big’ sound out of a small box – I don’t mean loud, I mean big as in rounded, balanced, smooth accurate bass etc.. So as you head smaller, compromises creep in and some cheating is involved, particularly at lower frequencies.The Soundcore 3 is small but manages to achieve convincing bass whilst retaining clear articulate mids and semi-highs.It’s satisfyingly weighty – suggesting good cabinet build and probably some hefty ferrite magnets for the drivers.The actual build seems excellent – robust, understated stylish and very well finished.The app provides full eq control but the factory preset is so good I soon gave up messing with the eq.The preset has loads of bass boost and quite a lot of top boost – exactly what you would expect to balance such a small box with 2 tiny midrange drivers – it’s bound to need a lot of eq to get anywhere near flat.Anyway, ignoring how or why, it’s just very good indeed for general round-the-house use. Plenty loud enough, all-round great sound, easy to use and the app is excellent – handy and smart.At the price it is rediculous. I imagine a pair would make a very good substitute for a stereo system.
