Flawed design
There is no way to change color or turn on or off if itâs submerged in water. Remote or app will not work unless you take it out of the water.

A nice novelty light for your pool
In order of priority it is necessary to know that you can not apply this to a wet pool liner so if your purchasing for this season be advised you will need to drain your pool to the level of where you will be mounting this light ,the light itself is small and my pool is an 18ft oval and it needs two lights to adequately light the pool at night .The unit is well made and is designed to take on water in a portion of the back where there are no electronics exposed ,maybe this is to weigh it down ? there is an app that has a lot of configurable options for light patterns,colors and time set ups ,but there is also a remote that allows you to configure the light with a large amount options as well so I chose to only use the remote as for now I have the light simply wandering until the end of the season when I will drain the pool and stick it to the liner as intended ,also the light comes with a highly detailed book of instructions for the app but absolutely none whatsoever to install the actual light
