Great Performance for CarPlay Unit, But a Bit Bulky for VR Use
The SUNGUY Link Cable 16FT is a solid choice for high-speed data transfer, and Iâm currently using it to power my CarPlay unit in my car. It works very well, providing reliable performance with no issues in powering or maintaining connection. The 5Gbps data transfer rate ensures smooth functionality for my car system.However, the cable is a bit thicker than I had hoped, and the braided exterior feels rough to the touch. If someone were to use it for a VR headset, where the cable might rub against skin during prolonged use, it could be uncomfortable. The thickness and rough texture of the braid make it less ideal for situations where you need flexibility and comfort, such as during immersive VR gaming.Overall, while the cable delivers excellent performance for powering devices like my CarPlay unit, its thickness and rough braiding make it less than ideal for VR headsets, especially if the cable comes in contact with your skin frequently.

Defective after 1 use.
Looks like a quality cord but after using it with an Xbox wireless controller as wired. Blue connector malfunctioned while in use and melted into my pc’s port. Used this through 2 hours of gaming and then malfuctioned. I’m not a big gamer and I don’t game often. Should’ve tested it before the return window ran out.

Did not fit on OtterBox
I have a Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra with an otterbox case. The USB c end us too short and isn’t compatible with the case unless you take the Case off.

Bought this for my quest 3. Works fine.
If you want extra play time on your quest vr headset a long charging cable combined with a USB wall charger works great. Your battery will still run down while you are using the headset but it will take longer than on battery alone and will charge when not using the headset. Also an essential piece if you plan to play steam vr or older oculus games that don’t run native on the meta quest. Yes you could conncect to your pc via the wireless option but, imo, it’s not as good an experience and unless you have external batteries on your headset will run out of power way to fast.

This was when testing it thru the meta settings.Let me get this VERY VERY clear. It does exactly what you need to for PCVR and Quest 3.I never have any issues with the quality or smoothness. Sometimes it bugs out, but reconnecting the cable usually fixes it. If not, the Quest 3 is restarted and it works.Buy it now
