AWESOME!
I love TEAMGROUP’s products because their performance is excellent but at much lower prices than their competitors.This is perfect for my iPhone 16 Pro (256 gb).I DO NOT use the very stiff cable that came with this, but the SSD & price are so good, I didn’t deduct any stars. So far, the best cables I found are a 3pack of 1′ long USB C cables with right angles on both ends. These cables are far better suited for this purpose and there is ZERO strain on the cables and they are super flexible. While 1 foot is a bit long, they work fine and you can easily hold the extra length folded in your hand while holding the phone. The 3pack costs about $8.00 and is well worth the extra expense.

Impressive speed!
Data xfer is surprisingly fast without corruption. Highly recommended for personal use and even in small business as a back up device. Drawbacks: not supplied with a USB c connection and no loop for a lanyard attachment.

SOMETHINGS NOT EXACTLY RIGHT?
THE DRIVE HAS A NICE DESIGN AND APPEARANCE. THE SIZE IS PERFECT, NOT TOO SMALL AND NOT TOO LARGE. I TESTED THE DRIVE WITH MULTIPLE LENGTH AND MANUFACTURER CABLES (INCLUDING THE CABLE WHICH CAME WITH THE DRIVE). THE TRANSFERS WERE CONDUCTED WITH 10 GB/S USB-C CABLES CONNECTED TO A SUPER FAST USB-C 3.2 2 PORT ( NOT THE ELUSIVE 2X2). THE RESULTS DID NOT LIVE UP TO THE ADVERTISEMENT. MY RESULTS FOR SINGLE FILES OF 4-8 G/B WERE 660 WRITE AND 1G/B READ. THE RESULTS SHOULD BE CLOSER TO R1000 / W1000MB/S . THE DRIVE MAY PERFORM BETTER WITH A TRUE 20GB/S USB-C CABLE. HOWEVER I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT UNTIL THEY PROVIDE A BETTER QUALITY CABLE, ADDRESS THE POOR WRITE PERFORMANCE OR SIMPLY STATE A 20 GB/S USB-C CABLE IS NECESSARY TO REACH FULL TRANSFER SPEEDS. OTHER DRIVES IN THIS CATEGORY ALTHOUGH ARE GETTING SOME SIMILAR RESULTS. I MAY CONSIDER DOING A LONGER TERM TEST ON THIS MODEL…

My PS4 did not recognize either of the two flash drives I ordered. I worked with their product support and was unable to resolve the problem.

Goodbye hard drives and SSDs
I have previously use external hard drives for backup. Warning, never leave a backup drive attached to your computer or network. If you get a virus, it will find the drive and wipe out your backup as well. It happened to a friend of mine.So I get out the external hard drive and run my backup program (Images for Windows) periodically. I have two and alternate, in case I back up an infected computer. But eventually, I filled both of them. I was looking for an inexpensive replacement. I found these. Similar price to an external hard drive, but smaller and faster. Doesn’t even need its own power. Perfect for backing up my whole computer, applications, household documents, small business documents and photos. I’m very pleased. Probably more reliable and less fragile, too.

Die Geschwindigkeit ist wie erwartet schnell.Die bei Amazon genannten MaÃe von “27 x 4,3 x 4,3 cm” sind völlig falsch und unbrauchbar. Ich habe lange mit dem Kauf gezögert, weil mir die bei idealo genannte Länge von 78,2 mm zu lang erschien. Tatsächlich gilt diese Länge einschlieÃlich Stecker, für den Transport können 12 mm abgezogen werden.Ich hatte die MaÃe mit dem bereits vorhandenen SanDisk Extreme PRO verglichen. Die für den SanDisk veröffentlichte Länge von 71 mm gilt allerdings bei eingezogenem Stecker, so dass der Stick in Wirklichkeit gröÃer ist als der C212 von Teamgroup.

Testé sur plusieurs PC en exfat ou NTFS, les performances chutent de 280mega/sec en écriture à 18 méga/sec dès que l espace utilisé sur la clé dépasse les 60 gigas.Tests effectués avec des fichiers de taille moyenne à très volumineux.Cette clé est de mauvaise qualité.

Super Schreibrate von durchgängig 260-280MiB/s unter Windows selbst wenn der Stick schon relativ voll ist. Leider hat der Schiebemechanismus zu viel Spiel und klappert. Beim Einstecken an einem USB ist mir der Stick auch schon zwei Mal ungewollt eingefahren da die Arretierung etwas locker ist.Trotzdem Kaufempfehlung, vor allem weil die anderen Hersteller (Patriot, SanDisk) oft nur die ersten paar GB schnell kopieren und dann die Schreibrate erheblich einbricht, das ist hier nicht der Fall.
