Excellent for Telecommunication and Distance Learning
Due to this global pandemic, like many, I need to work from home, and I’ve found that the lighting in my home — though pleasing for normal life — is definitely not conducive for telecommunication and distance learning. Prior to using this tripod & ring light setup, I was either seemingly in the dark, or washed out from excessive light. Basically, I had a pretty lousy set up. So, I needed to rearrange my home (with the sheer number of meetings and classes I needed to attend/run weekly, logistically, that was really NOT what I wanted to do), OR I needed to purchase a lighting set up.This has been the perfect solution. I can stay in my office, and still have excellent lighting for faculty, department, and team meetings, classes, and conferences. And, now, I look like I actually know what I’m doing. The set up was a snap. My first time set up literally took me less than two minutes straight out of the box (including reading the directions), and it allows me to either use my cell phone (should I want to go mobile), or my laptop, and of course, it’d work with a camera, or camcorder as well, though that’s not what I bought it for. I appreciate that it has a handy remote, and the adjustable tripod is great. The whole setup is lightweight, but surprisingly well-made and sturdy, and it works beautifully. Frankly, it’s nice to be able to just focus on my work, and not have to feel like I need to hassle with the technology. It sets up in seconds, and I’m good to go. The price is very reasonable as well, which is a plus on a teacher’s salary I only wish I bought it earlier. It’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.

It works great!
I do videos and needed a light that was not too big nor not too small and this set, is steady, is light weight, easy to carry on and set up, and holds my heavy case samsung phone perfectly. I really liked it! The area where i do my videos is about 10ft by 10ft and tends to be a bit darker but with this light my videos are now clear and sharp. i recommend it. I love the fact that i can adjust the height of it, so that i can do videos standing up or sitting down.

Perfect ring light for making videos (or if your main lightsource decides to die)
I originally got this to make my room brighter for my YouTube videos but I’ve actually found myself using it for more than filming. It’s great for providing a movable light source for my desk, and has helped light my room a lot since my ceiling light decided to die on me. The tripod part of the ring light is rather sturdy and there are a lot of different ways to adjust the height and tilt of the ring light. One thing I will note is that the thin foam piece that acts as a spacer between the tripod and the ring light has both detached and started to crumble, but it’s not a problem big enough to inhibit using it.

Great product besides the Selfie remote. It disconnects every 10-15 seconds.
I just received this item in the mail today and first impressions are that this product is great for its price. Build quality is actually better then I expected ot would be especially the tripod. The light works great just as advertised and the tones and brightness adjustments are great. The phone holders extend a lot to hold my Samsung Galaxy a51 in its big rubber case and it has a very strong grip so you don’t have to worry about your phone falling off of the tripod.The only problem I have with this product is the Bluetooth Selfie remote. At first I had to change my camera settings to make the volume up button take photos because the remote just adjusted the volume or zoom levels at first but im sure thats working as intended. The main problem I have is that the remote continues to disconnect from my phone like its turning on and off for some reason. I have to hold the remote power button the whole time just to keep it turned on and the second I let go of it the remote turns off.Not sure if it’s just a defect or if this is happening with other peoples remotes as well. I was surprised by how cheap the remote feels considering the build quality of the rest of the items in this package.TLDR: Great product and well worth the money if you can have some patience when trying to get the selfie remote connected and working properly.
