Powerful, compact charging station
This is a fantastic charging station! More than enough power to charge an iPhone, Apple Watch, AirPods, as well as an iPad and Kindle through the charging ports on the front. Articulated hinges allow you to change the angle of your iPhone and take advantage of the standby screen. It’s almost a sculptural art piece. The new Crystal-Clear case really makes it stand out. Best of all, the entire thing collapses down into a compact cube, and they include the cord, the power block, and a carrying case that has space for all of this and cables for your other devices. This makes it the perfect charger for my bedside table AND for my travel needs.I also need to mention AC Island’s excellent support. The first one I bought was the older model, which stopped charging my watch after a month. I contacted AC Island through their web site, and they stated that they were aware of an issue with static electricity and sent me a new unit. They also said they were addressing that issue with their newer releases. This is the one that I am attaching this review to. I was so impressed with the product and the company that I bought this new model for my wife and was just as happy with it as my original unit.Great product and great service, winning combination!

I like it a lot… except for one annoying flaw.
There is much to like about this charging station. It allows you to charge your MagSafe-equipped iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch all at the same time. That removes a lot of clutter and redundant cabling from your desk or nightstand.As an added bonus, it has USB-A and USB-C outlets on the front, which can be used to charge or power other devices. It’s a lot of capability, wrapped up in a very compact package. It does a great job, charging all of my devices simultaneously at the speed you would expect from any wireless charger.The charger is extremely compact, folding up into 2-2/4″ x 2-2/4″ x 1-1/2″ package for travel. Unfolded for use, it takes up a very small footprint on your desk or nightstand. It comes with a very nice zippered travel case, which holds the charger, it’s 35-watt power brick and its cable. Construction is solid, made of weighty plastic, with a nice high-gloss gray finish.The charger is made up of three thin, square sections, each hinged on one edge. To use the charger, you unfold the top two sections at the angle you wish to orient them. Friction on the hinges hold them in place. A fourth small section unhinges from the top piece, which is the platform for charging your watch. You can mount your phone in portrait or landscape orientation. When charging in landscape, the iPhone’s standby mode engages, displaying a clock and your choice of widgets. At night, the phone dims the clock display to a dark orange to avoid disturbing sleep. More on disturbing sleep later…The hinge system allows you some flexibility to choose the height and angle for mounting your phone. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max in a MagSafe case, and it’s near the weight limit that the frictioned hinges can hold in place without collapsing. I have to be careful about getting the angle just right, or the hinges won’t hold, and the charger folds in on itself. This would probably not be a problem with a lighter, smaller phone. Stronger friction on the hinges would make this problem disappear.There’s one really stupid design flaw that I find very annoying: On the front of the base, there is a white LED indicator light that comes on when charging is initiated.(You can see it in my photo). In a dark bedroom, it’s extremely bright, lighting up the whole room, disturbing me, but more devastatingly, my spouse. It normally stays lit for a minute or two after you attach a device for charging.That’s not the worst of it. When charging my AirPods, something about them causes the white light to come on and off randomly throughout the night. The last thing we want when we’re trying to sleep is a light show. This indicator light is way too bright, and in reality, it’s completely unnecessary. I’ve come up with a low-tech solution to this annoyance. I’ve covered the light with a piece of opaque tape. In an office or kitchen setting where darkness isn’t a requirement, this isn’t a factor.If not for the stupid light, and the less-than-adequate friction of the hinges for holding heavier phones, I’d give this charger 5 stars.

Best all-in-one Charger!
The W7 Flip is much better than any of the many high-end charges I have used over the years. So compact it’s excellent for travel. It disappears on my desk when not in use. I charge my iPad, IPhone and AirPods daily with it. The latest version is improved over the prior version which I loved as well.

Best Traveller Charger
I have purchased numerous travel chargers over the years, but this is by far the best ever. Its sleek and compact design along with the carrying case makes it very easy to pack in your laptop bag. I charge my phone, watch, AirProds all simultaneously next to my bed, and touch the phone screen to get the current time and temperature. Additionally, the USB-A and USB-C output jacks allow me to also charge my Ipad and any other device I travel with. Very light and takes up so little room in your bag. A must buy!
