This little device helped me use my external keyboard, mouse, and microphone with my MacBook that only has two ports on the entire machine! So thankful for this! Can switch from usb c to usb!

Did not work for my application
Did not work for me. It charged fine but did not work with wireless mouse and keyboard.The build quality seemed ok and I liked that there were plenty of usb ports but itâs not as versatile as it should be. It was not very large which was nice but again, it wouldnât work with my mouse and keyboard so it really wasnât worth it for me.

Dead in a month
Certainly did not expect it to last a lifetime, but dead in almost exactly 30 days from receipt. Watched the support video and tried it on several different devices and another completely different computer system and none of the ports work. Truly dead and disappointed because, the return date to Amazon expired 3 days before this happened. Quite sure I would not buy this again!

There are so many devices that we can connect to our computers these days. Mice, keyboards, scanners, printers, speakers, headphones, microphones, cameras, fans, monitors…and the list grows as they find new things to use up the few ports our computers come with.That is what this USB hub is for. With this tiny device, you get 7 extra USB 2.0 and 3.0 high speed USB ports capable of up to 5 gigabyte per second data transfer. Amazing simplicity.The interface with your computer (or other device) only requires one USB-A or C (more on this later) port, so this is effectively a 7 for 1 swap. I love getting more than I have to surrender.Did you ever notice the confusing âsnakes nestâ of cords behind your computer. And have you seen the dust and cat and dog hair that collected behind the computer. Did I just admit that publicly? (I mean in other peopleâs houses of course!) Assuming you have a free front USB port on your desktop, or just a spare on the laptop, this clever device allows you to plug into a USB port and there are 7 new high speed ports without having to even access the back. Clever!I like having a hub like this for plugging in short term needs – downloading pictures from my phone, external storage and backup drives, personal fans, phone and watch and headset chargers…stuff that I can connect and not have to move the computer to access the dreaded rear ports, and disconnect those same devices equally easily without having to move everything around.One final note: The USB hub comes with a dual plug interface for your computer. Irrespective of whether you have a USB-A or a USB-C port available on your computer, the plug has an adapter to allow using A or C inputs.This is an inexpensive and effective way to add ports to your computer. It requires no external power making it very easy to use. Everyone should have a way of increasing USB access, and this useful device satisfies that need. I use this, and I recommend it.

Ordered this because I was quickly running out of usb spots on my desktop tower. I liked that I could use it with either a USBC or USBA slot but the adapter seems to have either been faulty on mine, or is just poorly designed because the connection breaks every few minutes when using it. A rather frustrating feature when you’re actively working on a file that lives on a flashdrive that’s plugged into the hub.If you arent using the adapter piece it doesn’t seem to disconnect as often, but it does still happen occasionally. Could be my specific one, or it could be a design flaw… who knows.
