I have an Apple iMac that has two T4 (Thunderbolt Ports).I’ve tried other Solid State Drives e.g. 1,000Mbs and it’s like night and day.If you use superDuper to backup your system and you have the T4 port this ADATA drive is perfect.It even has a clever fan. It took a fraction of the time to install the large Sonoma OS.It comes with the 40Gbps Cable (I wouldn’t use a standard USB C cable.

I purchased the ADATA 2TB SSD expecting high-speed performance as advertised, but unfortunately, itâs not as fast as claimed. The data transfer speed is noticeably slower than expected. Additionally, Iâve had connectivity problems with my MacBook M2. The SSD sometimes connects fine, but other times itâs not recognized at all. This inconsistency makes it difficult to rely on for important tasks. Overall, it hasn’t lived up to my expectations in terms of speed and reliability.
