Usable as a boot disk
This device uses the USB-over-SCSI protocol, not the older Bulk Storage profile used by most inexpensive sticks. Therefore if you plug it into a fast enough USB port, it can run at roughly the same speed as a SATA SSD.I have an entire bootable Linux image on mine, and I use it to dual-boot a laptop to a completely different “personality” than the one on the main disk.

Fast, compact storage
This is the 2nd or 3rd time Iâve been pleasantly surprised by a drive EXCEEDING the manufacturerâs claimed speeds in some way.The claimed speed is 600MB/s Read and 260MB/s Write but my CrystalDiskMark scores repeatedly show 450MB/s Reads and 440MB/s Writes. Iâm more interested in fast Write speeds because read speeds are almost always âfast enoughâ.Disappointing to see it be significantly lower than 600MB/s on the Reads but the faster Writes offset that disappointment.. mostly.Build quality is plastic-ee and lightweight but solid feeling. Cap is detachable (clicks into place firmly) and can be attached the the bottom of the drive when not use.No status LED for power / activity but.. if it mounts itâs working, so no stars lost there.Also seemed to stay reasonably cool / warm during testing.Overall, itâs 250GB of fast, portable storage for under $50. Itâs good value.Knocked a star off for it falling pretty short of the claimed 600MB/s Reads (testing on an Alienware M15 R4) but very happy with the Write speeds.

Truly fast USB drive
I installed portable win10 on this drive. It only took 8 min (compared with 2 hours for a Sandisk 256GB drive) to install and win10 works smoothly on my old Samsung laptop. Really happy with the purchase. I only wish that they make the device smaller so it fit on the laptop permanently.

Fast Light Convenient USB 3.2 Gen 2 USB Drive
This sweet little USB drive satisfies my need for portable backups, video transfers, and much more. I was able to consistently get 585MB/s write speeds with this drive. The read speeds were actually lower than the write speeds, averaging 535-540MB/S.The drive has a typical form factor for a flash drive, but when inserted into a compatible USB 3.2 Gen 2 capable USB port, this drive performed well but missed the read speed mark by a wider margin than expected.The cap will snap onto the back end of the drive when using it, and it has a convenient hole to allow it to be attached to a key ring, mini lanyard, etc. The case is plastic, and the device does warm up a bit, but for my usage, this device is very nice.

very good size for 250GB
I just needed an external storage for my video creation project to store the application and production files. This little thing is very useful. I plug in on the one of the extension for my monitor cable and it works great.The price is a bit higher than its value for the product and competition out there, but I expect it to last long so that I may get the value of my bucks in the long run.

This does not work as soon as you enter data it crashes. I paid a professional computer store to diagnose the reason why my computer would not recognize the drive. I paid $60.00 to have him tell me the thumb drive WAS NOT as advertised. I lost valuable irretrievable data.

Ich habe mehrere (drei) USB Memory Sticks von AXE MEMORY, hierbei handelt es sich um eine japanische Firma mit Produktion in Taiwan. Bei uns recht unbekannt, bisher bin ich mit den Produkten 100% zufrieden, die USB Sticks sind klassisch aufgebaut, ohne Firlefanz, stabil und bis auf die Kappe ohne bewegliche Teile, mit sehr guter Performance. Ich mag diese einfachen funktionalen Designs.Der nun erworbene 1 TB Stick ist von der Geschwindigkeit vergleichbar mit einem USB M.2 NVME Adapter mit guter SSD, nur das er kleiner und kompakter ist. Ich habe gerade 500 GB Daten mit durchgehen 300 MB/s umkopiert, kein Zusammenbruch der Geschwindigkeit, eine Linie.Sollte sich ein Defekt einstellen (wie ein Rezensent berichtet), dann werde ich selbstverständlich meine Rezension anpassen und hier reporten.
