Really high quality dock
It’s really good construction and great price compared to other docks by Dell or Lenovo, much smaller footprint and great functionality.

Decent dock at a reasonable price
Updating my original review which scored low because I had received a defective unit. The issue was that the USB ports were nonfunctional on that unit. The replacement appears to work 100% out of the box. I will not quite go to a 5 because electronics that are somewhat expensive should be fully tested before shipping and it doesn’t seem possible for a dock to pass quality testing and then fail while in the box. There are no moving parts to physically damage in transit so I can only conclude the quality testing is either not happening or isn’t adequate. I will deduct a star for that.Second update: Seller has been incredible in following through to check that I have received my replacement and that it is working. I don’t usually see such good follow-up from most manufacturers. I am adding back the star because they expressed intent to enhance their testing processes. I am taking them at their word. I have bought other BASEUS products before (which have been excellent and very well priced) and will again in the future.On to the review of the WORKING unit. I will need to use it for a longer period of time to assess the performance and reliability. As of now, I’ve only plugged in the replacement and checked that the ports are all working and that the docked notebook can do everything it should be able to do with the devices. All of that is 100% The other thing I will note is that I do like the form factor of this dock. It’s not too huge but it does have a nice selection of ports on the front and rear. I also like the indicator lights to show what’s connected.My only complaint so far — and I might have deducted a point for it, had I not already deducted one for the inadequate quality control, and don’t want to take this down to 3 stars — is that the cable to the computer is built into the dock. I really HATE built in cables on ANY device. Given a choice between that and a similarly capable device with a removable cable that plugs in via some kind of STANDARD port, I’ll always choose the removable cable option. If I find the supplied cable to be too short or too long, a removable one allows me to remediate that. Can’t do that with this one. Also, cables do experience wear and tear and sometimes run into problems before the unit itself is dead, and being able to replace it is a nice thing. It’s not a deal-breaker for a nice dock, but it does give it one small disadvantage against a comparable device with a removable cable.On BaseUs as a company, I have used some of their other products, particularly chargers, and this is the first time I’ve gotten anything that didn’t work or failed. I like the design of their stuff and when you receive a working device they seem to be good quality, good design, and quality components. I also have to speak well of their support. I didn’t even bother to contact them — I just initiated a return with Amazon. They saw my previous review and contacted me to see what they can do to correct the situation, i.e. refund, replacement, or tech support. I like that. Often I don’t get a contact from a company when I report a problem in a review. I have a feeling their support would have been 100% responsive had I contacted them, and the contact info for support was right on the device itself — nice!! I would usually have to go looking for it online. That tells me they’re ready to give support. Also, when they contacted me, it wasn’t like most the other few who contacted me, usually with something like “please take off the low rating — what can we do to buy a better score?” (paraphrasing :D) — no, BaseUs never asked me to change my review or score. They only asked how they can help make me happy with the product. That’s the right way to do it. Begging to fix the score tells me a company is more worried about sales than customer service. Not an issue here!! I’d give them 1/2 extra star back for that.

Great customer support and it works now
Fails do to pd to my rog ally and when I have keyboard mouse monitor plugged in it would just keep cycling through everything power pd fails to delivery on my power bank shows 50w then 5w then it resets not sure if I just got a bad unit but send like a quality issue.There is no issues if you use a power brick but not sure if it’s a pd issue or quality issue.Update:After customer service wants to prove me wrong they decided to send me a unit for me to test looks like i had a bad sample unit on my first purchase but customer service is excellent and stood by their product.After hevey testing with the orignal ssd using a 10gbps adapter and a 165hz screen and my anker 737 power bank it’s a great on the go dock for when you need to whip out a decent spec handheld into a monitor while being powered by a battery bank.

Great mini hub
Perfect mini hub for on the go. The storage slot for connecting cable doesn’t securely hold it in place, oh well.Performs well when connecting an addition screen.Ethernet port works great, I am even able to connect it to my iPhone 15 to use the Ethernet connection for faster internet.Plug and play, easy to use.Passthrough power supply doesn’t really give you the advertised wattage. I can only guess it is less due to the error displayed when using it paired to my Baseus 100w power supply. It will charge my laptop, just at a lower/slower pace. Still satisfied with its performance. Good value for the cost.

Il dock arriva dentro una scatolina personalizzata, al suo interno troviamo anche un manuale multilingue compreso l’italiano.Esternamente il doc si presenta in metallo ed ha una disposizione verticale, è dotato di una basetta magnetica che si fissa con un adesivo al tavolo.La sensazione al tatto e vista è ottima, è ragionavolmente pesante e da un senso di prodotto solido.Nella parte frontale sono presenti solo 2 porte usb ed un display di stato che indica quali porte sono utilizzate, nel lato posteriore si trovano le restanti porte.Lo si collega al pc tramite il cavo usb tipo C, il cavo è fra i più lunghi che ho visto in questo tipo di oggetti ed è abbastanza spesso, a causa di questo non è molto flessibile e non è possibile la sostituzione, avrei preferito una porta usb dedicata con la possibilità di sostituirlo.Il dock funziona molto bene ed è molto veloce dato che supporta lo standard usb 3.2, nei test ho copiato alcuni file ad una velocità media di 500 MB/s, se collego il disco direttamente al pc ottengo 750 MB/s, ovvio che vi è un calo minimo di prestazioni dato che si aggiunge una connessione nella catena fra il disco ed il pc, per quanto mi riguarda la velocità delle porte usb è ottima.Nei test ho provato anche a collegare il monitor alla porta hdmi e 2 dischi allo stato solido usb alle rispettive porte ed ho avuto problemi di reset del dock, per un corretto funzionamento questo dock deve essere sempre alimentato, unica pecca è che manca nella confezione l’alimentatore, bisogna procurarsene uno.Non ho riscontrato problemi di velocità o video anche nell’utilizzo intenso e con molte periferiche collegate, a patto che sia alimentato. trovo molto comoda la gestione dei 3 schermi che permettono di avere il desktop allungato o la replica dei 3 schermi in base a come si configura windows dopo aver collegato i 3 schermi al dock e collegato il dock ad una presa usb tipo C dotata di uscita video del pc.Se viene premuto il pulsante che si trova sopra al dock si porta immediatamente windows 11 alla schermata di accesso dove viene richiesta la password, questo permette di bloccare il pc e di coprire la schermata, quando si inserisce la password si torna alla schermata precedente.Il dock viene riconosciuto da windows 11 senza necessità di driver per il suo corretto funzionamento.Il dock pesa 486 grammi. Le dimensioni sono: 12X6,5X6,5 centimetri. Il cavo è lungo 78 centimetri.Assegno 5 stelle perché questo dock funziona molto bene e non ho avuto problemi con windows 11. Non mi piace il cavo usb non sostituibile ed il sistema adesivo della base perché non mi permette di cambiare scrivania senza danneggiarlo, avrei preferito trovare nella confezione anche l’alimentatore.
