This is the real deal My name is Biko I live in Ewa Hi
First off you need to know I use this for ebiking with my wife. I’ve tried other comms both cheap and expensive. And they never did what this one does. This calm marvels in it s simplicity It works just like you wanted to. When you turn it on it says in your ear (yo on) Not an intelligible series of beeps and boobs. It comes with two coms And they pair seamlessly by holding the yo button and the plus button after that you probably won’t have to do it again even if you turn it off it will auto connect. Unlike other communicators where you must do a complicated dance of buttons to get it to connect and you have to do it every time. Not with the yo communicator as I said it seamlessly connects. As far as the range is concerned a real world honest distance test is literally a football field away from your partner If that’s no good for you maybe try another communicator but that is honestly the range and for us that is perfect I’m never more than a football field away from my wife even if I’m jamming on that bike. It doesn’t say it has noise canceling but what I’ve experienced is noise canceling I cannot hear cars pass my wife through her communicator even with the pop shield removed she still comes through Crystal clear. The instructions say they have a Bluetooth function but I’m sorry I have never used it, That’s not what I bought the communicator for. Honestly I love this product The seamless conversations between me and my other without clicking a button to talk is wonderful and I highly recommend this product to the point that I will share it with my eBike community because this product is the best communicator I have used thus far. Once again I am not a bot My name is Biko I live in Ewa Beach Hawaii And I wholeheartedly endorse this product. And wish for their success.

It’s actually easy to install on a bike helmet despite the reviews saying otherwise
A number of reviewers cited difficulty in installing on a bike helmet. It’s actually easy – you just have to look carefully at the picture on the box.The trick is to hold up the front end of the communicator using the clip on the inside face attached to the front strap, and hold up the back of the communicator using the headset wire looped through the vents in the helmet. Push the front strap all the way to the front end of the clip so that the back end of the communicator can be velcroed to the headset. This puts the large earpiece comfortably hanging right over the ear.The sound quality is terrific and seems unaffected by distance while your partner remains within sight. Battery life is amazing – even after four hours of continuous communication the battery status was “high.”Altogether, a great buy that has significantly enhanced our biking experience.

These work great, butâ¦DO NOT BUY! (Read on)
My advice is to AVOID purchasing these. They do work. These are phenomenal. They work as described. I can say that they remain connected for at least 1,000 feet (line of sight). The audio is very clear. The only issue is trying to find replacement microphone/headphones. They donât offer them and no âaftermarketâ devices work with them. If they offer replacement headphones in the future, this is a no-brainer. If something happens to the headphone /microphone they no longer work.Customer service, you ask? There is none. They do not answer emails. AVOID!YO AUDIO – OFFER A REPLACEMENT HEADPHONE/MICROPHONE!!!! And ANSWER YOUR EMAIL!!!

Doesnât work with other headphones
The headphones that are included have poor sound quality and although it says the units can be used with other headphones with the included adapters, none of the 5 types I tried, including Apple and others even with a Bi directional converter worked. So you are stuck with the ugly low quality ones that come with it. I wanted to use these while cycling and the modifications in order to use on a helmet are clunky and ugly, something most cyclists wouldnât want on the helmet strap. My first set didnât work even with the included headphones and the replacement set (which I now cannot return) isnât much better. Cyclists should save their money and buy a Sena helmet instead, which is what I which I had done in the first place.

Pretty great with one minor annoyance
These really work great. The only issue I had was how to connect them to my half-shell style helmet. I ended up using the clip that goes on the rx/tx unit and sandwiching it around my strap. I then used some industrial velcro that I cut to fit the clip personally to connect the ear piece/mic. I then arrange it to sit over my ear.I have used these a lot over the last few weeks and the battery still says ‘high’ off the original single charge. The volume is plenty loud for my use case (and I am hard of hearing). The only complain on the volume is that it is difficult to get it to turn up or down, or maybe it’s just too granular, not sure which.Even with these minor complaints, this unit works great for biking with my wife, and makes a fun activity even more fun now that I can communicate with her super easily. Overall, 5 stars.

Crystal clear sound
We bought these for cycling. Just wanted to be able to talk while riding. These will be perfect. We donât need a great deal of distance as we are typically only a quarter mile apart. Only downside is the earpiece/mic boom. Not made for an open ear helmet. We were able to MacGyver them to work great. We put a strip of Velcro in the helmet with another strip hanging down. We attached the earphone to the Velcro and it works great. They need to make it with an ear hook in the future and this would be 5 stars.
