Takes 4 double a batteries works well works a long time on good batteries . The labels it takes work well prints well and easy . Doesn’t jam up too often not at all if you know how to put it in right .

Basic, Battery-Only Simple Tag Printer
If you ignore the one massive glaring problem of this printer, then it is extremely good for the money. It’s relatively easy to use, and in general, I think its great for general everyday label making for around the house. The labels themselves are solid quality, the text gets printed nice and clear, and the adhesive for the official label tape is good. I use this to create labels to mark what cables are what, which makes it easy to identify the cables on the back of my PC, UPS, surge protector, router, etc. Its also great for labeling any boxes you use for storage.The main complaint I have, that is quite annoying, but doesnt actually make it unusable, is the fact that the machine needs more than standard disposable 1.5v AA batteries, yet you cant attach a wall power adapter. When I put fresh alkaline 1.5v AA batteries (I double checked they were fresh with a battery tester) it always says that it’s “low battery”, and the display is all washed out and sometimes hard to see because of that. It seems to work fine, even when it thinks it it’s battery is nearly dead. I have gone through a full cartridge of the tape, and the battery doesnt seem like it is near dead by any means. As a result DO NOT USE STANDARD RECHARGEABLE AA BATTERIES WITH THIS MACHINE. Standard rechargeable AA batteries are normally 1.2v, so, if disposable batteries at 1.5v barely powers the machine, I can only imagine that it would not last long, or work improperly with rechargeable batteries. I do have another minor complaint as well, which is, I wish the machine allowed you to adjust how much margin you have, and that the default margin was somewhat smaller. I can understand why other people think the machine wastes tape.

The best label maker I own!
I looked around stores and read reviews on Amazon before settling on purchasing this label maker.Although, this label maker is pricier than the $10 ones on sale in this website I decided to purchase this label maker instead because of the following reason:-The size of the label maker. The label maker is bigger than most and the letters and numbers are larger and easier to see and press.-The label maker has different language settings.-The letter (~N) has it’s own button in the keypad of the label maker and I can access it faster without pressing special buttons. This is great if I want to label things in Spanish.-The cost of the refills is much cheaper than the replacements for other label makers. They go as low as $4 on this website. The refills are also available in craft stores, unlike refills for other label makers, and you are able to use coupons for it at craft stores.-The features available: I can add symbols to my labels, as well as characters like: hearts, smiley faces, baseball. and others. The label maker can also do double lines. Underline, Bold, Italic, vertical. The label maker can format different: styles, sizes, borders, boxes, dates.-The label maker has printing options: you can preview a label , adjust print contrast. It is easy to print, just click the large “PRINT” button in the middle of the label maker and press hard on the scissor button on the side of the label maker to cut the label.-The labels are easy to peel. The sticker part is pre-cut lengthwise on the label just peel from the openings to peel two layers (top and bottom) to reveal the sticky side of the label.-The label maker has the options to save label texts and recalling stored label.-It is fairly easy to use. I just read the manual took a few minutes, and then immediately began to make labels without a problem.-This came with two refills one already set up inside the label maker. and a clear s label refill.ConsThe scissor button is hard to press.Batteries not included.

Mine came with split-back labels, which was a serious bonus
I didn’t expect the split-back labels to come with this unit; I’d read that it came with the backing that you have to fight with. It wouldn’t have been a deal-breaker if it hadn’t come with split-back labels, though; it seems to be a solid unit and it was a decent price.It’s easy to use, I think. I upgraded from a years-old Brother P-Touch. This unit is approximately the same size. My thumbs are short and fat, but I don’t have any trouble navigating the keys.It’s not hard to learn. I generally don’t read the manual, but I needed to read it to figure out how to find and insert symbols that I wanted. That was easy to do. So props to the manual for making that task straightforward.In short, I think it’s a decent label printer and the price was acceptable.

Lo he usado poco, la primera vez que lo use se quedó sumido el botón de cortar, me frustró un poco, pensé que tendrÃa que reclamar, pero no me ha vuelto a pasar. Sufrà para encontrar y poner un simple sÃmbolo de más “+” pero al final logré averiguar como poner los sÃmbolos los cuales son demasiados para un solo botón. Fuera de los sÃmbolos se me hizo super sencillo etiquetar, la configuración de tamaños, forma, marco, espacio etc. fue fácil y no es tardado. Hasta ahora y con poco uso todo okLa entrega a última hora pero eso sà en el dÃa indicado, empaquetado y todo.Trae una cinta transparente puesta y una adicional de papel blanco.Las instrucciones solo en inglés.

Item faulty after 3 uses. not printing everytime from the start, on off button faulty. Thought was battery issue.. wrapped in plastic no packaging.Its something you use very rarely and not working… Going in the bin !
