Still going strong.
Was reluctant, never heard of fikwot before. Price was too tempting. Needed to up size a 500gb ssd – 3 year old machine, used daily. Boot drive. Duped the drive, dropped in, works perfect. Had no issues. Was not going for speed, or high performance, just a larger boot drive. No noticeable performance issues on a daily driver office desktop.

Do not be misled by the comments claiming that this drive failed the BIOS hard drive test for some computers. All Solid-State Drives (SSD) will fail that test because that test is specifically designed to test Hard Disk Drives (HDD) only. Part of that test gauages how the HDD spins properly, and because SSD’s do not spin at all, they will inevitably fail the test every time.This is a great price for an SSD. I upgraded the drive in my PS4, my Lenovo laptop, and my Dell desktop with this SSD. I did not have any compatibility issues, and the Drives are performing flawlessly so far. Mind you, I’ve only been using the Drives for about a week, so I cannot attest to longevity at this time. However, I can attest to initial functionality, and a week’s worth of usage. I will return from time to time and update this review, and provide testimony for longevity, or the lack thereof. Hope this helps. Happy shopping.

Excellent. Give new life to your Laptop.
I had a laptop I love but was so slow compared to my desktop with a solid state drive. Installed this and it was really quite easy after watching a Youtube video for my model laptop. Boot time is about 4 times quicker and shut down is instant. Was going to get a new laptop but no need with this SSD installed. Mine is like a new machine

I made a mistake… ð«¤
As soon as this 1 TN SSD disk came in the mail, I began recording to it. Well, partially through pasting a 60 GB file from my PC to this new disk, it failed. I tried again, but with a different file… That failed as well. So, I did what most would do in this case.. I returned it. I used the money I paid for this disk to buy a “Crucial 1 TB SSD”. It was only then that I learned that the first hadn’t failed– it was my “SSD Docking Station” that failed. So, this disk was probably good. Sorry. (but I had to tell the truth.)
