Comfortable for forward-facing experiences
By having the user screw the headset interface onto the strap, this is compatible with both Quest 2 and 3 models. I’m using it with a Q3 and found it to be comfortable. It charged the headset as expected.One thing that every battery strap I’ve used gets wrong is the cable though. When it’s not plugged into the headset, it just flops around. Kawaye provides a tight fitting loop for it, but that’s just to guide it towards the front. Fortunately, I have a 3d printer so I added a proper hook to secure the USB C end of the cable when it’s unplugged.The biggest gripe for me is a place where many halo-style straps struggle: security when looking down. It’s really comfortable and feels secure when you’re looking straight ahead or moving around, but in games like Walkabout Mini Golf where you’re constantly looking down, I had to catch the headset more than once as it tried to fall off my head. I’ve tried out around ten different straps in varying styles and, while this is common for halo style (my comfort favorite), this one struggled more than most.

Not a real improvement.
If this is part of your list of possible headsets due to its all rounded nature, i would avoid. This thing leaves a lot to desire but dos two things really well. The first is that the wearing this, It feels like a helmet the quest will no longer rest on your face. The 2nd is the battery is lightweight and fairly well magnetized.The list it dos wrong….. Well lets start with how it holds the headset, Its two screws holding a black plastic chunk on a plastic pillar holding your headset up. This is how it fits the 3 and 2 models. Next the battery can and will fly off if u flinch or move very quickly.The headset feels good on the head, but takes a LOT of adjusting to get it to feel snug. The plastic slides that hold ur headset do not cover the bumps for the charging and 3mm jack…..

Nice headset, works with both Quest 2 and 3
I was able to get it installed on my standard Quest 3. The material is very soft and padded. With an adult head, I had plenty of adjustment room. It also comes with a battery that has a nice LCD readout on it on the charge. It also comes with a table charging plug that will support up to 2 batteries. The only thing I didn’t like about it was there is no built in fan like another model I have. That keeps the head cool with the extra padding. This seems like a good alternative.

Comfortable but not secure
This style of head strap is quite comfortable but it is not the most secure option. The battery on this has some shortcomings. The magnet makes it nice to hot swap which if you have a few of these batteries you can theoretically play forever. But that is also its flaw. Since it is only a magnet it is not very secure and a quick movement will send it flying. This is a major issue for me for many reasons and makes this a no go. If you don’t expect to play games where you need to move quickly then maybe this will work for you but for most I would say this is not the best option.
