As a disclaimer, I bought this PSVR2 on sale for 350$ and the rest of this review will be reflective of THIS price point. At 550$ My rating would drop by one star, but that is for another day.Comfort (4.5/5):So, I’ve only ever owned this VR headset and the Quest 2. I don’t know how it compares to other headsets, but I have always found it to be comfortable enough for a couple of hours without issue. I know that there’s a strap you can buy if you find that it slips during high movement games or depending on your head shape.Library(4.5/5):Taking into consideration the games coming out this year and the fact that this headset probably has at least two more years of content coming to it. I’m happy to say that most of you will be happy with the library! The only issue here is that it doesn’t have Half Life: Alyx. But, given the new PC adapter you find access to two PC (Steam)!Ease of use/installation(5/5):If you use this on PlayStation, there is like ZERO setup (aside from initial or compared to some PC headsets). I’ve personally never had issues with using it or connecting it. I have also never had the controller issues that some people have had, though *OCCASIONALLY (once or twice every dozen hours) I do get controller tracking hiccups from it. But ultimately it is very good and reliable.Graphics(5/5):Now, before anyone is a smart but, no it is not better than a 2-3 THOUSAND dollar setup. If you have money go buy something else. What I am telling you, is if you already bought a PS5/Pro for OTHER reasons then this 350$ price point is an AMAZING offer. The graphics look good and crisp thanks to foviated rendering. It also runs at a consistent 120 fps in the games that I have played it on, which is mainly Arizona Sunshine 1 & 2, GT7, Metro: Awakening, Beat Saber, and No Mans Sky! So I *personally get NO motion sickness.Price(5/5):At 350$, PSVR2 makes a fantastic purchase and a great headset. It’s only real competitor at this price point is Quest 3, which is great as well but for different audiences. However, if you are reading this after the sale the I would say WAIT! The headset is great but it is missing a Alyx sized game to justify 550$

This headset has 1 MAJOR flaw.
This VR headset does a decent job and is quality enough for the price, BUT. The PSVR2 has one MAJOR flaw that is a dealbreaker for me. And it has nothing to do with the headset itself, and has everything to do with greed from SONY. Many people are breaking or having issues with the main typeC cable that is hard attached to the back of the headset , it is possible to replace it just takes a few small dissasembly steps,it is a proprietary cable so you cant just use any TypeC cable. BUT Sony will not sell the cable to anyone! You cannot buy a aftermarket cable anywhere, and there are absolutely no replacements. Want it fixed? You have to ship and pay Sony $300 (half the price of the headset) to replace a simple cable that anyone could replace themselves if Sony sold it. But no, Sony would rather take advantage of customers and ruin their reputation instead. And yes, its technically not Sonys fault for accidental damage, but seriously? $300 for a typeC cable!?!?! Nobody would say anything if the price was actually realistic.It’s really sad behavior from a major company, and for this simple reason i will be returning this item along with the PCVR adapter. It’s a shame since the headset is actually good for the price. But what is the point if you have to pay another $300+shipping down the road again? And no, warranty will not cover this.Don’t believe me? Look up on google “My PSVR2 cable broke and Sony wants to charge me $300 to fix it” and you’ll see many many Reddit posts of frustrated PSVR2 gamers.

Plugged the product directly to my ps5. There was no light indication and it seems that it is not drawing power. Checked my usb c port and its working fine. The product is defective.
