Works so far
I have 2 Ring doorbeells I’ve had installed for almost a couple years now – they’ve always been fine with the voltage supplied by the doorbell transformer. I was surprised to be getting numerous notifications that both doorbells had under 10% battery remaining. The doorbells and chime still worked fine, but I just automatically assumed that maybe the transformer was on its way out (1987 home, probably original) so I looked for a higher VA version and settled on this one.For me, the transformer is installed in the bottom of the main electrical panel, so access was easy. After taking the cover off I was surprised to see that my existing transformer had 3 different wiring configurations and it just so happened to be set on the lowest voltage and power. That is, I probably could have just rewired the existing one.Nevertheless, for $25 or whatever I just installed the new one. I was surprised that instead of a 24V output, it was closer to 28V. What was odd is that it took a couple days or so of being on for the doorbells to start to recharge, but now it all works fine. No noticeable hum anywhere, chime still works, etc.So time will tell, but this appears to have been a good buy.

Ring Wired Doorbell
We had constant connection issues with the Ring doorbell, after reading up on it we got the blue spinning thing which indicated it needed more power. This transformer was the least expensive one and it works perfectly. should have done this a year ago when we installed it.

Drives 2 Unifi G4 Pro doorbells with ease
I needed to upgrade my original transformer to power two Unifi G4 Pro Doorbells. The old transformer drove them to about 8V each which “worked”, amazingly. This transformer drives them each to ~26.9V (daytime, IR light off, led light off, screen off). More than enough as they are rated at 12-24V.

Came half dead out of the box.
I wired this up and when I put my voltmeter to it, it was fluctuating between 8-13 volts. Just enough to get my Nest camera to turn on, however when you rang the bell, the voltage would drop and it would lose connection. Absolute garbage. Waste of my time installing it. I should be compensated for having to do it over again.

Perfect for Smart Doorbell
We upgraded the original 10VA transformer to a 30VA version. It powered the new Ubiquiti doorbell just fine. But the mechanical chime wouldn’t work. Plus, it only BARELY put out the rated 16V.Found this version (24v/40VA) and made the swap. Powers the doorbell and the chime perfectly.Don’t make the mistake we did – go for the bigger 24V/40VA version from the get go.

I have 2 Nest Hello doorbells on the same transformer. The original transformer was was only putting out 19.1 volts. I was having a problem with my Nest Hello doorbells where one or the other would cut out intermittently. I purchased this transformer, which is a 24 V output hoping that it would solve the problem. And sure enough it did. With both doorbells hooked up, the output voltage of this transformer is 28.4 volts. It was easy to install as well. The top transformer in the photo is the new one compared to the cheap, smaller original one. Obviously, make sure you cut the power to your house before you install this.

This transformer works fantastic, I didn’t know my doorbell could make sounds I could actually hear!! For years I struggled with missing deliveries and such because my doorbell sound was so weak. I decided to look into getting a video doorbell so I could get notified on my phone, and I learned I needed to upgrade the transformer, which is why I ended up buying this little guy. Now my doorbell actually rings as it should, I don’t even need the video doorbell, but I like the added security so I ended up keeping it too.For video doorbells, if anyone is curious, I purchased both the Arlo Video Doorbell and the Eufy Video Doorbell, and it worked fantastic with both! I ended up keeping the Arlo over the Eufy, it works great.

Checked several times and the voltage is slightly higher , about 26.6VAC but I have no issue with that. Supposed to be 24VAC. Well packaged and build quality is good. Used it to hard wire ring video door bell and it is perfectly working. I was having issue when wired by bell 20/2 wire but later on changed to 16/2 wire and it has worked perfectly. I do recommend it to potential buyers.
