It’s exactly what it says it is.
This thing is exactly what you want if you’re looking for a good sturdy camera cage… that happens to be cheaper that some of the other ones.But seriously. It’s pretty great. It’s got a nice bit of weight so that adds to its usefulness when doing some handheld shots with it. It’s got a nice amount of places to add more items on to it for versatility. Like lights, mics, etc.My pic has the cam cage with a G9 mounted in it. It’s got room for the battery compartment to open, and I’d wager most cams like it can do the same. My only complaint, is that I can’t fully open the lcd screen to the side. So I just end up flipping it around and reseating it in the middle instead of to the side, but… that’s probably to be expected.So yeah, overall I’d recommend this for anyone needing a cam cage to help with shots, accessories, mics, lights, etc. Especially if you’ve got one of those cameras that there aren’t a lot of (or no) camera cages made for.

Great little starter rig!
I used this to film a Groom getting ready for his wedding which was a smaller space than normal. I was able to get some great footage with my Canon 90d, my wide-angle lens and a 7″lcd screen on this setup. Although you will have to take the two bars out when doing so for wider footage. I plan on building this rig up with more accessories in the future.

hdmi problem
The rig itself is fine but the left handle is blocking the hdmi port on the A7IV. This severely inhibits the ability to use an external monitor w/ the device and honestly killed the excitement for it. However, in terms of it being a good rig for the money, I think it is. A lot of places to mount things, lightweight, & sturdy, pretty good in theory. Just wish it was a bit better in practice

Very lightweight, great for balancing your gear.
I got this for a filming project I am working on. I had some other NEEWER cages and stablilzers that were broken apart that I was having to Frankenstein to get working with other gear. This covers all of my needs and I am able to mount up the other pieces into this one without any problems. You can tune the balance so it can hang off one finger and have full stability.
