At 9 feet, itâs just right for wrapping around my metal and plastic home pipes, and the red color gives it that âdonât mess with meâ look. The replaceable digital display thermostat is pretty nifty tooâI feel like a pipe wizard adjusting temperatures and keeping everything in line.Itâs self-regulating, which means it knows when to kick in without me babysitting it. Perfect, because I have enough things to babysit already (like my plants and occasional DIY projects gone wrong). The fact that itâs well-priced at $32 is just the cherry on top.I knocked off one star only because, well, the digital display is a bit on the smaller side, and squinting in the cold isnât my idea of fun. Nicely Made and Great Concept
The weather is just now getting cold in Houston and I have not had any reason to use this yet. However, I feel as though that will change soon. I am very excited to use this. It appears to be high quality and Iâm have high hopes for it.

Better than older styles
First… this is going into the barn and it runs on solar energy.Older models, need to be powered when needed. This one has a control panel that allows you to set the temperature that it initiates heating. This way the unit will not casually deplete the energy, or waste energy when not needed. Great concept.Straight forward settings and easy setup. Had to add an extension to the power cable, could have been 9′ just because of the placement and use of the item.
