Perfect for vehicles with AM/FM only
We took a 5 hour trip to Georgia with our coon hounds in the back seat. The van we use when we take them only has AM/FM radio so Alexa was a lifesaver. We had relaxing music all the way which kept the dogs calm. She told us where every LUV’s truck stop with dog parks were. She found phone numbers and made calls for us. She got us lost in a cotton field once but we don’t hold that against her. This is a great invention. I drive the van with the dogs a lot and it is a lot cheaper than installing an expensive stereo.

Bad cable
Connected the cable to my echo dot and it will not do anything. You have to constantly wiggle is around to get a connection and even then you have to make sure not to touch it or it will loose connection. I would send it back but for $10 itâs really not worth my time.

Works very well!
Don’t listen to the bozos on here stating that this cord doesn’t work with Echos when talking to Alexa. It works just fine! What I suspect is happening with these neophytes is that they’re using a USB brick or plug that isn’t rated for the correct voltage and therefore tripping the Echo software. Just make sure to confirm the brick is rated for the voltage and you’ll be fine.

Perfection!
I wanted my Amazon Dot to operate on 12V so I could use it in my RV without being connected to shore power. It works perfectly!

Way too short
Unless you have a plug exactly where your Alexa is, this thing is useless.
