Works amazingly
I got this for my cruise so that I can charge more items in a smaller place and with less charging boxes. The type of charging boxes you are allowed to take on cruise ships is not long. I got this to make it easier and easier it was. it took up no space at all. It will stay with my travel supplies so I don’t forget it next time.

Great USB C hub, good value for what I needed it for, I like using an external mouse on my laptop but need my full size usb port on my laptop for my cooler and I don’t want a Bluetooth mouse, so being able to use this hub with my laptops spare USB C port has been great.Also I’ve used an external HDD with it and had great transfer speed thru it.Charging has worked fine with it.Unit is compact size and easy to travel with.Lightweight and not much noticeable weight for travel.I love the little hub and it’s performed great for my needs so far, good quality device.

caution â ï¸ may not work with current apple i mac
the unit i received did NOT work with the current 2024 generation of i mac .. bought this to increase port count for my brand new (2024) i mac .. plugged my apple disc drive into the unit and it would not power up .. talked with apple support and they said many of these units were not supported ..

Fast data transfer USB hub
Got this cause I’m running out of room on my Dell Optiplex mini desktop computer. Also go a USB Type-C to USB Type A to plug it in to the mini desktop. Everything works great and fast data transfer.I also use this to ready and write to Motorola radio and even with the adapter cable, I was able to perform all data read/write to the radio with no issues. Though when I’m reading the data off my Android phone. Sometimes it slows down to a halt and viewing the large thumbnails hangs up Windows Explorer. So I’m not sure if this is a Android phone issue or the USB hub. But when I bypass the hub, there’s no issues of it slowing down. So I’m not sure on it but both my external USB 3.0 hard drive are plugged into the hub and it works great. Was able to move data back and forth with no slowing down.Great USB hub and though I’m using it as a desktop hub, it’s working like it should. Plus it’s made out of aluminum and that should help out with the heat if I’m moving a lot of data within drives.

A small, useful hub that provides just USB ports without the extra ports that I don’t need.
I have several USB C hubs that I use with my laptop and desktop computers. Most of my other hubs are larger, heavier, and provide ports that I don’t need most of the time. This hub is in some ways more basic, but in one key aspect does more. In addition to the two USB 3 ports, it provides me with two USB C ports. A lot of hubs are all USB 3, or the ones that have USB C also have ethernet, monitor (HDMI), and thus are larger, more complex, and more expensive.This hub is only as large as it needs to be to provide the four ports plus the USB C PD pass-through port. Being small means it can live in my laptop bag without a problem. It is easily the smallest USB hub I own.My laptop takes 65W PD input. This hub will pass through as much as 100W, so it works fine for me. The data ports are 10Gbps ports. Most USB 3 ports on other hubs are 5Gbps. If I plug this hub into my Thunderbolt 3 port on my laptop or desktop, I can have multiple 10Gbps drives attached and running simultaneously.This port is definitely one I’ll keep with my laptop.

A tool I didn’t realize I needed!
I ordered this hub as I recently found myself in a predicament with a MacBook whose keyboard and touchpad had failed. The customer needed me to recover the data but was not interested in repairing the MacBook. This hub allowed me to plug an external mouse and keyboard into the USB-C port in order to log in and access the data without a hardware autopsy. Average USB-C Port Expanding Hub
A nice, middle of the road USB A&C port expansion hub with a USB-C Power Port for charging the computer from a wall charger. All the ports are nicely labeled. The pigtail for attaching to the PC’s USB-C data and charging port is pretty flexible with little retained cable memory from packaging. If you only want one dongle (i.e. devices like this hanging off your PC), and it needs to connect to a wired internet AND an external monitor (HDMI or Display Port) this isn’t the device for you, because it doesn’t have a native RJ45 networking port nor a video port. So if you need either of those, that’s another one or two dongles that will eat up two of this device’s 4 USB ports.

A good hub for expanding ports on a laptop
I have a budget laptop that only has one USB-C port and a couple of USB-A ports. I have a “station” where I bring the laptop from time to time, and wanted an easier way to connect several peripherals at once instead of attaching and removing all of them individually every time I move the laptop. For my needs, this does a great job. It turns 1 USB-C port into 2 USB-C data ports, 2 USB-A ports, and 1 USB-C PD (Power Delivery) port that can work as an input to connect a USB-C power source to power/charge the host device. (It won’t work in my case because my laptop is not compatible with PD charging, but this hub runs fine on power from the laptop. ) So in my case, I have to plug in the laptop’s proprietary power adapter and this hub to fully connect at that station, but if your laptop is nicer, you could literally connect power and peripherals in this one connection.I had no trouble installing the hub (it’s all plug and play.) The build quality seems good, and I have seen no issues with device connections or throughput.
