Works very well
I am very favorably impressed with the USB C HUB, DockteckExpand USB-C Multiport Adapter 5 in 1 with 4K HDMI, 100W Power unit. It is all the description said it was and easily makes up for the additional USB ports I wanted when I bought my laptop, and that applies to all laptops and PCs I have owned since I purchased my first IBM XT in 1983. This multiport adapter is fast and efficient and accurately functionable, so I have lost nothing to essential operations while using it. I have run a portable CD player/recorder, a portable video grabber/downloader and a mouse devise simultaneously through this unit with full service of all three unites. I thought that quite remarkable. And, I use the USB C port and the USB 3.0 ports at different times with the same level of service. I should ha purchased one long ago. And I have been thinking of purchasing another just to have a spare stashed away.

Need a hefty Charger
Seems to work OK. My beef: nobody tells you you need a hefty Power Supply(Charger). I suspect that the rediculously high speed Ethernet port sucks downpower like crazy. I had a standard Samsung ps hooked up, but this Hub wouldn’t charge my tablet — in fact, it drained the tablet’s battery.Substituted a Galaxy S24 S23 USB C Charging Block 25W PD Super FastCharger Type C Wall Plug Adapter Quick Charge for Samsung Galaxy S24/S23/S22/S21/S20/Z Fold 3/4/5/Note20/iPhone 16/15/iPad/Tablet.Then it worked OK.-Mike

Good hub for the price
Needed a HDMI and standard USB ports for my wife to use for a Macbook air and be able to travel with it. This fit the bill nicely. The SD ports were a nice extra in case she needs those also.

Hub does as advertised
This little hub for expanding the ports on my computer does as advertised. Plug it into a C port on the computer, then it has multiple other USB and C ports for adding external devices, along with one port designated for a power connection so the computer doesn’t lose charge. It will also take an SD card and a micro SD card that I found useful for processing photos from my drone. And it has a HDMI slot to connect a cable for a TV connection.

Stopped working
I used this for the ethernet to USB. I was happy at first, then started running into issues. It works fine for a few hours and then the internet connection stops. Upon touching it, it runs very hot. Of course I realized the issue just past the 30 day return window.

This adapter replaces a number of individual adaptors and is better built than most of the ones it replaces. The bag is a nice addition to keep the dust out when not in use. I use it on an LG Gram, running Windows 11, and it keeps a second USB C port free. Not sure I will ever use the HDMI port but it is nice to have.
