Pricey, but worth it.
The Wolverine 10-sheet Micro cut shredder does exactly what I need it to do. Shred paper and CDs. We were definitely able to put 10 sheets in at once, and while the noise level did increase, for the most part it is very quiet. While we have not haed to empty the bin, it is simple to remove. We had a lot of paper to shred, so have been doing it in batches, but have had no hint of overheating. This is the perfect answer to a home office in need of a shredder.

Superior shredder!
Best shredder I’ve ever had for home/home-office use. Whisper-quiet, efficient, shreds many sheets into a super-fine micro-shred without overheating, devours credit cards, sleek design and portable with wheels, easy to remove the bin for disposal, and the bin features a clear front window to keep track of bin fill-level. This Wolverine is an enhancement to the room or office, and actually fun to use – a motivation to keeping rooms neat! And excellent customer service – had a question for seller and they responded immediately and were very courteous and helpful.

paper muncher proud
It was a little difficult picking a paper shredder because we wanted a level 5 security with the smaller pieces of shredded paper and the descriptions of many others were level 4 but the paper piece size was level 5 so it was confusing. We could not be happier spending a little more, this one advertises a 60 minute run time and I didn’t challenge that but I did run through a box of end of the year paper in 30 minutes without trouble. While I was doing that I challenged it with 10 sheets at a time and it stopped, 8 sheets and it stopped, 7 sheets and it stopped, 6 sheets was it’s capability and I tried it a few times with standard weight paper to make sure. It is really quiet, what you’ll hear is a little bit of motor noise but mostly paper crunching noise. The paper shreds are as small as we wanted and measure 2mm by 13mm. Overall size is great, not much bigger than the other strip shredder that it replaced and the bin begins to show shreds through the window at 80 sheets and is full around 150 to 160 sheets.

Powerful, Solid, Devours paper and makes micro confetti. Runs continuous for 30 min without issues!
Problem: Old shredder overheated or bogged down after 10 or 15 minutes of continuous shredding. The Answer: WOLVERINE 10-Sheet Super Micro Cut High Security Level P-5! At time of purchase it was $242. You can shred continuously with large feeds of paper for over 30 minutes of run time and it just keep munching paper without pause. It does Not overheat or slow down.Overall a very reliable shredder with heavy use for last 2 1/2 years. A few cons: 10 sheet limit, but it is pretty quick so it’s easy to just keep adding more blocks of 10 or to continuous feed it. The CD/Credit card shredder slot is pretty much useless, better off just running those through the main paper slot. Great Shredder!

Sturdy shredder for home use
This product seems pretty sturdy for the price and to have as a home shredder for occasional use. Itâs very quiet and I love that the paper level is visible from the outside so that you know when to empty the bin. The opening for paper is somewhat snug – Iâm wondering if that helps keep the paper feeding in straight? It shredded a plastic card well. I would get this shredder again. We have only had it a few months though, so Iâm not sure how it holds up over time.

Great shredder!
Purchased a second one for a family member. Got the P-5 level because of the micro-cut on any items Iâm shredding. And I mean micro! Has easy-roll wheels to moving from room to room as needed. NOTE: strongly suggest to purchase Shredder maintenance oil to provide lubrication to the shredderâs teeth occasionally; we use the âFellowesâ brand. Has a nice sized container bin for collecting the shredding material and very user friendly when removing, emptying and replacing ease back into the main shredder unit.

High dollar, quiet, efficient shredder lacking features
Pros:- Very quietâ Shreds paper into very small piecesCons:- Expensive, even with a Prime Days deal- No function lights- No manual forward button, though the user guide says there’s one- Have to hold the reverse button down to use it- Doesn’t seem to be able to handle the advertised 8 pagesI have arranged a return of the Wolverine SD9101.I’ve ordered a different shredder, at nearly half the cost of this one, with higher page capacity and some of the features this expensive model is lacking.

like everything so far! Relatively quiet, powerful, easy bin to empty, and makes very small pieces!
Terry V –
It’s very quiet and powerful! It has a fairly large bin and it’s very easy to empty. Also has 4 wheels on the bottom and it shreds everything into very tiny pieces. I am very happy with this purchase!

Lida com os cartões facilmente, bastante eficiente! Para não falar da sua boa funcionalidade!
Not Me –
Very quiet which is nice. Also shreds into very tiny pieces, also nice. However it will only do 4 – 5 sheets at a time (20lb), not 8 as advertised.

This shredder is fantastic! Its that good my wife has confiscated it and now does ALL of the shredding!
