It’s a junk mic, but GREAT for the money. Beats any headset mic.
The reverb has a knob on it (1-10 style) but the lowest setting performs the same as the highest. It has pretty good noise cancellation, which is good for home or office use, but when trying to use it for interviews at a race track, it drowns out the cars in the background and takes away from the racing experience. There is no adjustment for background noise reduction, just on/off. The foam cover doesn’t fit right, but things like that are expected with the 2nd cheapest mic on the market. Still worth every dollar spent. The boom is decent quality except for the vice part that is used to affix it to the desk. It’s VERY cheap and comes loose and falls off frequently.

Great sound quality and you can beat the value.
The mic has amazing sound quality, which is exactly what I need for working remotely from home. Iâm in meetings all day, every day, so having a mic with outstanding quality and ease of use is essential. While there are higher-end mics available, they often come with a premium price, require XLR cables, and need additional driver cards to work with most computers. This mic, being USB-C, is incredibly easy to useâno special drivers needed, just plug and play.The only downside is the boom arm. While it works fine and I use it daily for hours, constantly repositioning it since I donât sit in one place for 8+ hours, the U-shaped area that holds the mic is a bit sharp. In fact, itâs sharp enough to have cut me. Iâd recommend filing down the edges to prevent any injuries. However, for the price, this is a small and easy fix to make it more comfortable to use.

Decent for the price
Decent for the price. The mic worked well and I think it would be hard to find something better for the money. The one issue with audio quality is that it doesn’t have good low frequency response so your voice will be slightly tinny. I eventually upgraded to an $80 mic with full 20Hz-20KHz response to deal with that, but for the price I was mostly satisfied with this one.Main issue with this mic and why I only gave it 3 stars is that the boom arm is trash. You will definitely need to buy a better one.

iPhone compatibility issues (resolved)
I bought this mic to use when I record on my iPhone 13. It was one of the few options I found that had a manual noise canceling setting and explicitly advertised phone compatibility.It did record when plugged into my iPhone, but none of the settings (noise cancelling, gain, reverb) worked. It sounded worse than my built in mic.I thought it was defective and ordered a replacement, and had the same issue. I then tried it on my laptop and the settings worked. It actually sounded really good with noise cancelling.Itâs a really promising product and awesome value for what it can deliver, but there seem to be some compatibility issues, and I think they need to address that and/or make it clearer that this may not work 100% when plugged into a phone.Update:The manufacturer reached out to me and worked with me to resolve the issues I was having. Solid product and exceptional customer service. Canât beat that!

Firstly, it took me a while to find this mic. I needed a mic I could connect to my phone and one that also has the noise canceling option. I found this mic because it has all the features I need. Itâs such a small powerful mic that functions well. It was so easy to setup. Oh! Did I mention the great customer support I experienced with them? Oh! Great customer service!

I ordered this for use when I’m streaming after watching a bunch of YouTube reviews about it and it has been great for my needs. I just wanted something that would sound decent for the price since I’m just getting into streaming. The sound quality is excellent for, however PLEASE NOTE that to engage noise cancellation WHICH IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you need to hold the mute button for a couple of seconds. The mute button itself will turn blue signifying that noise cancellation is now on. Little light blue = no noise cancellation, big button is blue = noise cancellation. The quality difference with noise cancellation is huge and in most cases should always be turned on, otherwise the mic will pick up every little sound due to the sensitivity of of the mic.Beyond that, it was very easy to set up. It’s basically plug and play. It works well right out of the box and will sound even better with some audio filters added in OBS or whatever streaming software you use.The build quality of the mic is good, it doesn’t feel cheap. The arm it comes with could be a bit more hefty but I haven’t had any issues with it.

This Zealsound K66 Microphone with the stand is the perfect choice for the price if youâre new in the microphone scene. The box includes the microphone, the microphone arm, the cable, a USB to type C adapter and a foam filter. The arm and microphone are extremely easy to set up, simply clamp the arm to the side of your desk and tighten it at the bottom to secure a firm grip. Once you screw the microphone into its connector on the stand, you can plug in your USB or type C adapter, and connect it to your device.The arm is very firm, but also allows easy movement to position it to where you desire. Keep in mind you may want some zip ties to keep the cable nice and neat, as it will dangle. The microphone also comes with an easy mute button, which is useful in situations where you need to manually mute, and it also includes a volume dial, headphone audio dial for if you plug your headphones into the microphone and an echo dial, which can be useful to add cool effects to your voice without the need of a software.The microphone quality is also fairly good for the price, and since itâs on a boom arm, this makes your voice much more clear and loud which is important. However if you do want to improve it for streaming/recording I would advise using filters to help reduce background noise and unwanted sounds. For the setup I easily rate it a 9/10, and If you want to avoid the hassle of some more complicated microphone boom arms, I suggest giving this one a try. And for the microphone quality, Itâs an easy 7.5/10.Thank you Zealsound for this microphone, and I look forward to using it much more in the future!
