FINALLY found my perfect lights!!
After a kitchen remodel a year ago, I installed LED strips lights under the cabinets but those got REALLY hot and were quickly ruined. Plus, I really didn’t care for the look of the individual LEDs when you peeked under the cabinets.New research found these LED bar lights. Have been using them for a while now and they are PERFECT! I am REALLY into home lighting and look for products that add to the beauty and appeal of a space, not just provide light. The 12″ bar size is just right for bouncing a cone of light off the textured backsplash wall. The covering over the LEDs makes the light soft and hides the individual diodes that I disliked so much previously. These lights can stay on for HOURS without heating up, which was the fatal issue with my previous strip lights.The smart feature was easy to set up via the app and fairly easy to link to my Google Home system (had to use the secondary method of syncing but that’s because we have 2.4 and 5.0 internet channels and you can’t choose which one you link to–they assume your smart devices will know and the internet will allocate channel bandwidth based on traffic needs). So, syncing and setup took a little longer but worked out seamlessly in the end.I love that the lights are tunable, dimmable, and can do colors. They will also sync to blink with music, a feature that I doubt I will ever use because I don’t wish to turn my kitchen into a disco, but it is a neat option.The whites can be adjusted from “incandecent” 2700K to soft white 3000K to daylight 6500K. I tend to keep them on about 3000K and like to keep them on most of the time I’m at home. I just like the way they light the kitchen and reduce the shadows under the cabinets. I have programmed an automation where they will turn off at 11 pm if they are not already off just so they don’t stay on all night.For my installation, I used the double stick mounting tape included in the package. I haven’t ever had any issues with using mounting tape for my lights. I find that proper surface preparation and pressing for a full 30 seconds minimum at install helps the tape work as intended.My only complaint about these lights is that I wish the company would sell separate power cords. I ended up having to buy 2 sets of three lights each to be able to put up 3 lights. The way my kitchen is configured, I have 2 cabinets to the left of the sink and 1 cabinet to the right. I wanted a light at all 3 spots, but linking them together with cords and extensions over the sink area wasn’t a viable or attractive option. So now I have 2 extra light bars that I guess I will keep as backups. However, If there was ever a chance for me to purchase a separate power cord, I will totally mount these in my pantry.They were well-packed, appear to be of good quality, included all necessary mounting hardware, and had fairly simple instructions. We have had absolutely no issues with them to date and highly recommend!

Pretty good for the money, could use some improvement
Was exactly what I was looking for. Note 1: cheaper from the brand’s site. One of my 2 boxes that I opened had no instruction card, so I went to the website and found they were cheaper a set with cheap shipping. Also, their website is incomplete for these lights as there’s no setup videos or manual downloads as indicated when you click the product link. The main support link almond the top also doesn’t lead anywhere on their site.Anywho, product was packaged neatly. The 7-pin connectors don’t actually lock in or connect, they just rely on the friction of the pins, so I would recommend using some white etape to secure these together to reduce frustration during installation. The app was simple as I had other devices using the same app. To install make sure your lights are in pairing mode!! If they aren’t flashing on and off then they are not and you will not be able to add the device. Flick the power switch on and off several times until you see the lights flash on and off continuously. Then open the app and if not recognized automatically, add device by scanning for new device.I do wish these were a bit brighter, they will do for now and I like the product, but may look at other options down the road.

Got this because it’s suppose to work with Alexa. It does to a limited degree. I can turn the lights off and on through the app and change to basic set of colors. The voice activation hasn’t worked right yet. It seems to be having trouble recognizing them as devices. I am trying different naming formats to see if I can get one that works right. Kitchen cabinet lights was my 1st try. I also could not get it to connect to my samsung smart hub or alexa hub. I had to connect it through the smart life app after creating an account with them, sigh another online account, to get the device to recognize the hubs. I still had to link the accounts to alexa to complete the setup. To get full functionality, I have to use the smart life app on my phone. Not a great option if i don’t have my phone on me in the kitchen, or someone else wishes to control the lights. The only manual option on the light system is an on and off switch. No dimming or color controls. That was a bit disappointing for the price these are listed at. I expected at the very least a manual dimmer control. If I use our Echo Show to control them, I can also, only turn them on or off. The phone app is the only way to control basic color selections via Alexa. I wish they would specify Alexa integration limits and functionality before I bought these. I would have setup another solution or chose a different lighting package.

I love this light set. It’s easy to setup, install and works as promised. I had no issues. I have it installed under my kitchen cabinet and love the ability to set colors or time on/off with the app. Super!Follow up: Approx. after a month from install, one of the panels developed an intermittent flicker at low illumination intensities. Contacted the company and they immediately replaced the defective unit. OUTSTANDING service from this company!!!
