I love this

Great retrofit option. So bright!
This is a great looking replacement light for my ceiling cans that previously had the screw in lightbulbs. They are so bright (I choose the 4000K kit for my kitchen) that I run them dimmed to 80% for normal operation. The installation is SO simple IF and ONLY IF your ceiling cans have the side mounted C-Clips already installed inside them. My cans had a different mounting option for the face plates for my screw in bulbs. This required me to purchase separately and manually install the C-Clips which was a royal pain (easier after buying a right angle drill attachment). Not trying to take anything away from these LED retrofits at all – they look great. Just a heads up to check your existing cans before ordering and know what you are getting yourself into. Side note… Customer service from Sunco was fantastic! I had ordered these gently used from Amazon warehouse and two of the lights were missing the E26 adapters. Customer service sent me the two parts immediately no questions asked. Highly recommend.

Good lights overall. Love the ability to change color temps
These are very consistently made, and I had no issues installing all 24. The springs do a good job of holding them into the old cans. The baffles stay flush to the ceiling and have shown no signs of drooping over the last several months since installing. My only complaint is that in the absence of a proper LED controller, some flicker is occasionally noticeable in our setup. This is not unique to these lights on our system, because we have rural electric power that is not as clean or consistent as we had in a metropolitan city. However, the flicker is more noticeable in an LED light than in an halogen or incandescent. A more expensive setup may include an LED controller that smooths the out the frequency fluctuations in the power which lead to a noticeable flicker. To be clear, it is not a constant flicker or strobing effect, but a small rapid flicker lasting less than a second each time due to fluctuations in our electric utility service.

Easy to install into existing 4″ ceiling pot. Each of the 24 lights worked (lights up, colour temperatures work, dimmed well). Nice bright white plastic. Love that the colour temperature is configurable so that you don’t have to guess which temperature is right for the room. In my configuration, I used 3500k for the kitchen and 3000k in the basement. But I may have to pop them down and re-adjust once my wife has her first look at them. 😉
